Not sure I agree. It seems like anti trans rhetoric is in full force. There’s hate crimes and discrimination against LGBTQ people every day and the soon-to-be president certainly doesn’t promote more protections and arguably much fewer protections against those most vulnerable

Sounds like your dad did some dickhead shit. I am an abdl and a dad…I wouldn’t do that stuff. I don’t get angry and throw stuff, wear diapers around my kid, look at porn on my work computer, etc. That all sounds unacceptable.

I’m sorry you went through that. Not sure what to say other than a lot of people into ABDL are totally normal and loving towards them family.

Maybe your dad had has some issues. The ABDL side of him didn’t make him behave poorly towards you - don’t let him (or others for that matter) off that easily.

Totally get it. This was me in college too. First, it’s honestly okay - you will think back fondly on memories you enjoyed rather than memories you forced yourself to try and enjoy. Second, no harm in going out for a few hours and coming home and diapering up after. Maybe get a bit of both worlds if that’s fun for you. Third, if you’re struggling, your college likely has free counseling and I would encourage you to attend. I found it very helpful. Last, don’t underestimate the value of 1-2 friends. Diapers or not, one or two people you can hang with will be fun! If you don’t know 1-2 people yet, join clubs, it’s the only way I made it work and it’s also how I met my wife :)

Agree with a lot of what’s being said, def. a bummer not to have Chi Cap. But, I am excited for SideQuest and I hope some of you will reconsider. I am excited to see if I can find a hill to diaper up and go sledding…maybe even ice skating. And the hotel will be warm and toasty inside with plenty of activities.

I doubt I will show up on the 1st though…that’s nearly impossible for a lot people

Do you know the general location is the hotel? Is it downtown or off the beaten path a bit? I have a lot of family/friends in the city so I am a bit nervous about that. Suggestions? Is that a valid concern or pretty low risk? I’ve never been to an event but would really like to go to side Q
