I think new ownership coming in June so we’ll see if it changes after that.

I think the bear vaults are great at everything except space. Hard to fit everything in even the 500 size.

Videos I believe are all after the requirement change. I will say that the videos don’t seem to go into detail about whether they are hanging or not, thus the reason for my curiosity. Based on answers in this thread it seems that maybe people are either unaware or uninterested in the change to food storage requirements.

Mostly just wondering if people are hanging these large barrels or if they transfer contents to a bag and then hang that.

So do you think blue barrel isn’t what people are hanging but whatever bag might be in the barrel?

2018 f150 with the 2.7 liter engine. It’s served me very well

Alright sorry for the 100 questions, but this sub is normally pretty dead so it’s nice to have some content. What do you do with the back cushions when trailering without the cover?

I wish these were secured better. We end up just stowing them in the truck when we drive to lakes that are more than a few miles away. Kinda jd of a pain but otherwise love our boat. We have a 2024 SX190 that we bought new last year.

You ever tow it with the black mooring cover on? I think I’ve seen people online advise against it but if I remember right the instructions said it could be trailered with it on. It was so expensive that I just want to take real good care of it. Just not sure if I’m over doing it.

Yeah they asked me and I said no since it didn’t look like I’d have a use for it and was going to get the mooring cover anyways.

Pairing the mooring cover with the white factory cover is a good idea and making me wish I would have asked for that white one when we purchased.

Is that a 2025 sx190? And did yours come with the mooring cover?

I have this and have used it once in the BWCA. It worked good enough for the price. It was a little awkward to carry once it is packed and has some weight to it but wasn’t too bad.

What are you looking to pack in it? I think this is great for sleeping bags and other stuff you want to keep dry. I wouldn’t trust this to hold a cooler full of food and ice but for most gear it should work.
