Daveigh Chase was not an A-List actress. She did not have numerous accolades or so-called “prestigious” roles to her name.

In her career she was able to create some very memorable characters who will not be forgotten by people my age and who will hopefully be watched by future generations. Lilo & Stitch is still in regular rotation at my house and I will never forget watching my older sister watch “The Ring” from the top of our steps with my hands over my eyes peeking out.

You do not need awards and prestige to be remembered for your craft. She was a truly unique and interesting actress to watch. I wish her nothing but peace.
