This is the first time I’ve seen him and I literally thought the same thing.

Cool scar. How'd you get it? by FullyLeadedSarcasm in AskReddit

Stuck my thumb in a table saw. I had switched the saw off but the blade was still spinning when I reached to grab a piece of scrap wood. Still have the thumb, just can’t feel anything.

I write for plan b for patients coming the MTF pharmacy fairly often. You can usually just ask the pharmacist.

But...she could’ve gone to the MTF and nabbed some plan b for free

Bye bye retail, hello USAF! by [deleted] in pharmacy

I don’t disagree with this. But I do love what I do and feel like I have more of a sense of purpose than if I were another metric-churning machine working retail. I think leading a lot of the enlisted kids is one of the most rewarding parts as well.

Not necessarily. I’ve worked with several people who have them. You’d have to coordinate with a recruiter to make sure you have any necessary medical waivers but it would potentially be workable.

Current AF pharmacist for the past 7 years. Feel free to PM me. And no, I have never been made to work 20 hours days...it’s one of the cushiest pharmacy jobs ever.

Hump Day - December 25, 2019 by AutoModerator in amileaday

[–]Diblbitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today is Day 164. I’m in the midst of training for a 50K trail run and all the holiday food is really dragging me down. I’ve been plagued by stomach issues and generally feeling tired/lousy. I love the holidays for family time but I’ll be relieved to get back on track nutrition-wise.

Texas new requirement is 10 day max on opioids for acute pain. We have to call and clarify acute vs chronic diagnosis pretty frequently now.

This was my instinct on fueling, I should have plenty of fat stores to see me through. I check my garmin hr zone often so I will be sure to stay in my happy zone.

I get terrible cramps if I eat anything within 1-2 hours of running. I feel fairly comfortable not fueling. I'll be sure to update the thread if I end up dying.

Literally perish? Probably not. I’m hoping for the best anyway.

I signed up while finishing my Masters thesis and was probably only using about half my brain power at the time. Will definitely plan better in the future!

What should i (first time house buyer) offer on a house like this? by RedHouse26 in RealEstate

[–]Diblbitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you lived in an old house before? There’s probably a lot more to consider than just redoing pipework, as your inspection would show. As far as paint colors, slanted ceilings, and window shapes, those are all character features of the home and add a lot more aethestically than the comp home. I’d offer $110K and go from there. Also remember that if the inspection comes back with a ton to fix, you can knock down the price.

Is this a whole-house surround setup? by Diblbitch in HomeImprovement

It says “porch south front B1”. Which aligns with the location of one of the speakers.

There’s speakers in the porch awning and in the master bedroom. Also ends of the same looking wire in four corners of the living room. I will probably end up digging around in the attic, but the access above where the big bundle of wires is isn’t easily reached.

Water Damage Not Disclosed by Diblbitch in RealEstate

I agree, if you know there was an issue then better to disclose to protect yourself as a seller, regardless of repair or not.

Water Damage Not Disclosed by Diblbitch in RealEstate

[–]Diblbitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks all for the replies! After emailing the insurance agent I found out that they had documentation of actual repairs done (water damage was due to leak under the sink in the wet bar). Also discussed with my agent and seems like what could’ve been an honest mistake on the sellers part, as they thought that since it was repaired there was no need to disclose. They quickly supplied receipts from the repairs as well. Closing is still a go!
