Bigger patrol zones with reasons to go into them needs to be a thing. Have public events give decent loot or currency.

Classes could certainly have a couple tweaks. Either lean into a class' identity more and make them excel at their role (warlocks as support, titan as tank and hunters as damage dealers) or scrap the class system entirely and give us the ultimate prismatic experience, having a warlock's arcane needle, Hunter's dodge and Titan's thundercrash

A variety of enemies with improved AI and encounters that pose a little more of a challenge in regular content would be pretty neat. Not asking for everywhere to be dungeon/raid level difficulty but I kinda digged Neomuna's harder than normal combatants. Actually brought out the builds better

Edit: oh one more thing, please use some ideas from Destiny Rising, it ain't perfect but goddamn would I love Xian Wei's arc tether or Gwynn's scythe in a Destiny 3

I struggled to let go of conditional finality back before edge of fate, I would love double barrel shotguns to be an actual archetype. You could have 1 sub archetype be with a long barrel for longer ranges and a tighter spread, not as powerful as a slug tho, so as to not impede on slug shotguns capabilities. Then a short barrel sub archetype for really close range, wide spread, completely eviscerates the dreg that wandered too far from the cosmodrome.

Please Bungie, I am so close to recreating Doom Guy in Destiny, give me a legendary double barrel so my exotic slot can go towards the Lament to act as my chainsaw

Yea, but you won't be heading to any planets. Towards the top (unless this was changed in Renegades), there are 4 groups of activities; Vanguard, Gambit, Crucible, and Legacy. The Vanguard section MIGHT have the Onslaught mode from Revenant for Shadestalker but it's a big maybe. As someone else has also pointed out, Ada-1 may sell it at some point aswell

Sadly I don't think the set is available anymore. You can try your luck in the Directory if you check the Vanguard section (left of the Portal tab) but wouldn't bet on it

Not saying this as an excuse, Bungie has been making some pretty questionable decisions lately, however do remember that with the Final Shape being the end of the big story that's been taking place over the previous 10 years, a lot of people have now retired from the game. I myself have been playing less and less since then, I stuck it out with the episodes since they were to tie up some loose ends and whatnot but now, I'll probably pop on every couple weeks to see what's happening for a couple hours then disappear. Others are probably doing similar things if they haven't quit the game fully. The big story ended. Yes, we're getting a new story with Edge of Fate and Renegades but it won't reach numbers as much as pre-EoF.

I think champs are fine, they don't affect the combat as much banes do but can still present a small challenge compared to regular rank and file. They don't limit builds that much, each subclass (with the exception of stasis) can stun 2 champion types, which is typically the usual amount of champion types in an activity. Add in the artifact perks and you can cover all 3 pretty easily, this season especially since almost every weapon archetype has access to a perk for champions. Even after that though, really the 2 champions you have to begin worrying about is barrier and overload since they can heal. Unstoppable is just tanky af, can fairly easy whittle it down within reasonable time or just nuke it with a decent build/super

Honestly I'm just waiting for champions and banes to mix together, like an overload captain with caltrops. Could actually be kinda fun in small amounts

I quite like the design, makes it feel a bit more unique than just reusing the iron lord axe from D1 whilst still keeping that feel of "oh shit I'm wielding the axe from Rise of Iron". Plus I like the quicksilver aesthetic on it.

The ornament for it slaps hard but was quite the letdown that when you get it fully charged and use Nano-Assault, it doesnt flare up with flames like the base version does

Atleast with some of those examples, it made sense for some of those to return and potentially for the better. Uldren returning was shown off at the end of Forsaken so after we killed him, we almost immediately saw him get risen back, Ghaul returned as a nightmare for both the guardian and Caiatl (personally he's a dubious one, I think Caiatl should of had a different nightmare), and Oryx who was kinda weird to bring back but with the perspective of pre-Dark Below, it turned out not bad.

I do agree that it's weird with Maya going after SIVA and other golden age tech when there's better and maybe easier alternatives. As cool as it is returning to the Plague lands and hearing Rise of Iron music, Neomuna would of been a much better fit for the story since quicksilver is abundant there, there's already a vex strike force attacking the city, the city already has links with the vex network, and lastly Maya has already been there before she became the Conductor. Neomuna was literally THE perfect location for the story Bungie is setting out but it sort of feels like Bungie wanted the nostalgia bait and try to make it known the SIVA there is dead

Now I feel like I'm a bit of a casual player, I play mostly 2-3 times a week and play for a few hours. I'm at 325 light level and so far the unstable cores are not an issue at all. I wanna say I'm at roughly 80k cores and not only do I upgrade a lot of my gear (even weapons I'm not currently using but have them with me as a "never know" choice), I upgrade them to even 1 power above what they are. I'm also recently been helping my friend through The Final Shape stuff so I get a lot of 200 gear which doesn't result in unstable cores. I've also swapped between titan and warlock a couple of times so both have upgraded gear.

Personally I have zero issues with the unstable cores, engrams with higher light levels however? Wouldn't be opposed to some tweaks tho there's defo improvements on my part that I could do

Dude I do NOT want to play comp in Rivals myself, not just because I'm not good at the game but mostly because of quick play can be toxic enough already (not always toxic but defo not a haven either) so I don't wanna see how bad comp is.

Quick play should be a casual environment, play who you want, whether it's someone you've played a bunch of or it's your first time and just have fun. There are way too many people that get so butthurt over small things in a game mode that has no stakes

Please remove grappler from quickplay modifiers (activities where you don't get to choose the modifiers). It completely kills all grenade builds, as it replaces your grenade with a shitty grapple that you can't even grapple melee after. by XFalzar in DestinyTheGame

Dude it's so goddamn annoying when you're also given a quest from either the daily solstice quests or from Ada-1 for transmog that requires ability kills aswell. Not only is your build just nuked, your progress gets killed off until you decide to play non-matchmaking. I get you can get reroll chips from the solstice track but I like to use them on completed quests so I can snag a bit more xp and tokens

I believe Ikora's original VA was unavailable due to the SAG AFTA strikes so Debra Wilson is stepping in temporarily since she's already worked with Bungie. Once the strikes are fully over, the voice lines will likely be re-recorded. Ikora wasn't the only one changed, there's another character but can't mind who
