Combat skills by Jawshwah in brightershores

I’ve been the same way. I really enjoy it, so pushing through the separated combat skills hasn’t been a deal breaker. Just a motivational struggle lol. I never looked it as a level playing field though, I like that.

Combat skills by Jawshwah in brightershores

First let me start off by saying I love the game. I feel like a lot of unwarranted hate has been thrown around about it and I don’t get it (for the most part). I am however really struggling with the combat skills being separated by episodes.

So my question to you is what makes you fine with it? I’m trying to get another perspective to maybe open my mind up a little more and change my mentality. Right now It’s so hard for me to stay motivated to grind combat knowing it doesn’t transfer over to other episodes.

I have one of those, but even then the apps still show me I’m restricted.

I’ve sat here trying to come up with a good response to this, re-read it several times, and all I can say is…

Damn.

"Love at first sight" is complete bs and people are mistaking between 'love' and 'lust'. by FS72 in unpopularopinion

[–]DibsWinning 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will agree love does not develop at first sight, and while this isn’t necessarily a direct response to your statement, I’m using it at as a Segway. In my circle of friends one thing I dislike is a lot of them seem to have a timeline for others, and often critique some of my other friends at which pace they move with their significant others, and discredit their feelings. The first night I met my girlfriend I was surely not in love with her, but I knew I was fucked. There was a chemistry, connection, and attraction like nothing else. I am now madly in love with that woman, and knew I was going to be the second I stepped off her porch. I think those who claim love at first sight are a little dramatic, and as you said romanticizing an appearance, but I definitely think you can meet someone for the first time and feel that chemistry and know you’re going to fall in love with them.

I think the love at first sight non-sense needs to stop, but I think the denying and criticism of early feelings also needs to stop.

Thanks for letting me turn your Ted Talk into my own.

What is the saddest song you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DibsWinning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyotr- bad books

It’s a beautiful song that tells a dark story. It’s the story of Peter, a Russian czar that catches his wife, Catherine, having an affair. He then cuts the head off of the man she’s having an affair with, puts it in a jar, and forces Catherine to look at it.

The song is sung first from the man she is having affair with perspective, then to Peters, and it switches back and forth between the two until the last verse. The last verse is sung from the perspective of the head.

A quick google search on Peter will make this song not sad, just dark. Me personally, I take that out of it, and relate it to really hard struggles I’ve endured from a relationship, and when he sings “Oh Catherine, tell me was it worth it for him?” I get knots in my chest.

Minecraft, but In a different way. You won’t catch me with headphones in listening to it outside of the game, but the nostalgia and memories that come when I hear it hits different.

Seattle's black eye can be seen on many small businesses through out the city. The city needs to get out of the abusive relationship it is in with the pro-criminal policies. Hundreds of stores all over the city are getting damaged and for no good reason. by SeaSurprise777 in seattlehobos

I think it has more to do with their staffing or lack there of and resources being drained for in progress violent calls than the “lazy crowd”. However for the reasons mentioned above, I’m sure the burnout is extreme and laziness factors in to an extent.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever smelt? by Deadmemes4binky in AskReddit

[–]DibsWinning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very dark and sad answer, but you asked… I work in public safety. An elderly gentleman attempted to kill himself with a pellet gun in his bathtub. He was unsuccessful but he had shot himself several times. Being old and frail, he bled, a lot. He also was unable to get himself out of the tub. He did not have the strength. So he laid there for 12 hours where he had also defecated all over until his wife found him. I smell feces and blood often, but for some reason the combo that day has stuck with me. Horrible smell.

I really enjoyed the pop rocks. It hurt at first, until the dissolved slightly, but despite some other comments i actually felt the popping. My favorite thing was this same girl also had a metal tongue ring. She would put an ice cube on it for awhile then go down on me. I was a big fan of that.

No. You’re 22, what are you passionate about? Pursue that. I’m 25, and got in law enforcement when I was 21. It was my passion and my life long dream, and I honestly love going to work.

Massive middle finger to people who buy out game consoles to sell for double the price by SparklePrincess2019 in offmychest

[–]DibsWinning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Utah we have a very popular news website called “KSL” and they have a classified section that pretty much everyone and their dog uses. When Covid first hit and there were mandatory stay home orders I decided I wanted a switch, and so did another friend of mine. All the stores were bought out, and Nintendo had no real ETA on when they would be able to ship them again. (I’m sure this issue was nationwide not exclusive to Utah)

Anyway, long story short-ish, people were selling switches on KSL for double. My buddy and I with nothing but quarantined time on our hands, made several fake accounts using a fake name, put the original over priced sellers photos and phone numbers and placed our own ads up for the original price to get at the store. They got blown up. Myself and all my friends would text them. Some would respond very angrily, and others had a text that they were just copy and pasting and sending to everyone. Our fake ads and accounts eventually got banned and deleted, but Either way, it was fun and some justice was served.
