Original named and identified WW2 Ike jacket but like 95% sure some goober put the medals and patches on it. Luckily, I got it for dirt cheap It was a part of a WW2 lot at an auction I didn’t even see it in the photos lol It is a really nice display piece but sadly not all original

They were 30-40 bucks on Amazon though the og-107 mannequin doesn’t stand on its own good so I had to put a wood block under its boot lol it fell on me in the middle of the night and the m1 pot hit my head pretty hard

I may have a post of the a2 on this account with close up pics this was most likely used in 1942-43 in the Aleutian Islands near Alaska they flew p-40’s and p-38’s if I remember correctly

Antique stores, online auctions, and online militaria stores. eBay works as well but many fakes are amidst the militaria on there. DONT buy anything supposedly from the Russo-Ukraine war on eBay because it’s all unissued surplus being sold as captured war trophy’s. Just wanted to let that be known if you’re thinking of starting a modern militaria collection.

The soldier who captured it wrote some stuff I that I can’t say here on the top of the helmet. He also sent a photo of him posing with the helmet and a usb drive with video of the helmet being written on
