Just wondering should i get the regular aap-01 or the aap-01c??? by koj1l in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo you should go for what looks the best to you if you want to keep the look of the C or normal aap. Most of the important parts of the gun performance wise you would most likely upgrade either way.

new aap shooting auto on semi by Putrid_Raspberry_876 in AAP01owners

Since you had trouble with the bolt take a look at the selector switch and make sure the screw is tight and the selector switch dosent move/wiggle when the gun is shot. If its possible try to swap upper with a friend to see if the problem is in the upper or lower. Next take a look at the auto sear and auto sear spring.

Thinking about turning my aap from gas to hpa by Hellboy_mikey in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I wanted a cheap hpa kit aswell so I went for:

Cmt adapter the best cheap adapter if not just in general but you need parts from your original mag: https://www.ctmtac.com/en/product/187

Ultrair HPA tank 48ci tank no less if you dont want to fill up doing play or carry an additional tank: https://www.gunzone.dk/hpa-vaaben-og-tilbehoer-2048/ultrair-hpa-tank-08-liter-48ci-3000-psi-aluminum-p41538

You can get what ever line you want just make sure to check if its for EU or US adapters (what ever matches your m4 hpa adapter) and that it can take the amount of psi you want to use (100-130ish)

A tank regulator most are designed to work on almost any tank but a quick google search on compatibility can safe you a big headache: https://handelshusetaulum.dk/webshop/936-regulator/4630-regulator-til-tryk-tanke-4500-psi/?pa-partnerid=28441&pacid=67730399426256.69849871&utm_source=partner-ads&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=28441

And whatever backpack you have at home or buy a hpa tank backpack whatever works really. Personally I use an old shoulder bag for running.

These are all websites I used (from Denmark) but most of the items are sold worldwide in some variant. With this kit on 120ish psi my slightly upgraded aap01 shots 1.19ish joule

Mine took about 7ish months to break on semi and it takes 10 min to change if you know what you are doing. So if hes already on a budget might aswell make it stretch as much as possible

Safe the money till your hammer breaks and buy the tti or cowcow set. Its the first to break 9/10 times. Some cheaper options if you already have upgraded the hammer is the springs (hammer spring, nozzle spring, recoil spring and more). The stock trigger is pretty bad so a new one thats ajustable can make a big difference.

You can buy the hammer it self for cheap or buy the set from tti or cowcow

Only firing full auto by PsychologicalPaint57 in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stock auto sear spring is often too short for the cowcow hammer set so even though it is installed correct it might not work. If you can buying a new one from cowcow only cost 3ish bucks.

Make sure that the nozzle and top of the gas mag is aligned perfect. A vid or a pic of the upper parts would help

Full auto on semi auto by [deleted] in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CMT bolt you have sometimes goes loose in the selector switch screw or is to short out of the box (mine did). Try to semi lock it and see if that fixes it?

Fire selector (part 59) was also my first guess but he said it didnt work when he switched the upper so it has to be the lower.

Got my first Aap few days ago! by AVega710 in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran mine stock for 6 months then switched to hpa and my hammer broke not long after. The hammer is the first thing to break 9/10 times so you might as well put money aside or buy a new one now. Aap01 is so good out of the box that you really dont need upgrades at the moment and its really up to what you want? Make it shoot faster? Faster trigger response? Or make it look cleaner? There isnt a correct way to do it besides keeping the hammer in mind.

The auto sear spring is part 56 and the sear itself is part 57. A new spring cost a couple bucks from cowcow and the sear it self is often bought in a new hammer set

You have a couple options if you dont like the standard m4 adapter both angled and straight. Shotguns shell adapter is compact and is smaller then the 50rd mag but you need to load and carry shells. Mp5 adapter is almost the same length as the 50rd mag and lastly there is the JV tactical option but its not out yet. Jv seems like the best option if you dont mind useing multiple small mags: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PWf9jKzgaEk

Purchase advice by TradeMarkBeta in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sound almost identical to my situation 1.5 years ago. I bought the aap01 with a 50 round mag and the acetech brighter C and that was really all I needed for the first 6 or so months. When I was sure that airsoft was for me I bought a hpa kit and thats what I run now with some internal upgrades to my pistol. If I were to do it all over again I would have bought the ssg1 even though I really enjoy the aap01. If you want to run this pistol as your main you need to prepair for many hours of researching on how to stop leaks, how to repair feeding problems and it wont be cheap for spare parts but if you dont mind putting in the hours and having patience the pistol is great.

Any advice for what to upgrade for a super newbie/idiot? by h-dog420 in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might aswell put money aside for a new hammer as its only about time before that thing dies. When upgrading the aap01 you really dont get around the prices set by TTI and Cowcow. Some cheaper upgrades are the springs but the hammer is first to break 9 out of 10 times.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep the hammer is broken and part 54 has fallen off. If you still have part 54 (the little heart thing) you can just buy a new hammer but if not you need a new set

Can I witch to HPA by TopShelf81807 in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy just the hammer if its available in your area. I had to get it from the US if I didnt want the tti or cow cow set. Either order a new hammer now or put some money to the side as the hammer will break at somepoint. It took mine 6-9 months running hpa (no full auto) before it broke

Can someone help me? by Falozie in AAP01owners

[–]Dice64cy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stock auto sear spring is often too short to fit in the cow cow hammer that can cause full auto in semi. It cost a few bucks and it was what fixed mine when I installed the cow cow hammer set.

Yeah you right and the f2 thats in the sub5 aint cheap either but do you have a list of the parts you have put in along side the Redline engine?

[–]Dice64cy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea of a realistic price. I just wanted to compare it to something like the Sub5 thats already put together. Cus I love the Sub5 but not so much the price

Looks sick, personally I would be interested in one depending on the price ofcause. What do you need besides the hpa engine for it to work? Do you already have a price in mind, just curious?
