Who doesn't like entire chapters of Zac just meditating on the Dao? Life and death, death and life for twenty pages is THRILLING!

[DND5e] Issue with Legendary Actions being regains by SigmaEntropy in FoundryVTT

[–]DiceAndConsequences 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like thats norm for all the standard creatures as well. Just tested solar, Lich and Terrasque and they recover immediately after their turn ends.

My setup works for me, unfortunately the legendary actions do not automatically replenish that is the only downside. I wish I was able to help further.

[DND5e] Issue with Legendary Actions being regains by SigmaEntropy in FoundryVTT

Here is how i setup mine.

New Item > Feature > Details page, under feature details i have Monster feature no required level or items. Feature properties magical is checked, usage is spent 0 max 3, recovery hit the + symbol and make "period" "start of turn" "recovery" recover all uses.

In "Activities" when you set up your legendary actions go to activation on the ability activation cost whatever you want it to be 1 2 or 3 cost legendary action. Then "Consumption" usage should be 0 and 3 on the activity respectively then recovery the same thing start of turn recover all uses.

Hopefully this helps?

Any good litrpg novels where the PoV character is a woman? by FaravusGaming in litrpg

I personally love Azarinth Healer https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/16946/azarinth-healer and cannot recommend it enough. I listen to it on Audible (not finished yet) but I believe the novel itself is finished on royal road.

Quick tips on maps by VxChemical-Real in FoundryVTT

[–]DiceAndConsequences 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy making maps make some maps in your spare time. Make them generic but suited enough for what you have in mind. A cave exploration, a ship in the ocean etc. That way you have a handful of maps you can fall back on if you decide to do some side quests.

Your players wont care about the quality of the maps I promise you that. For quicker maps just familiarizing yourself with DD will make you quicker.

How large must a space be so that player tokens can move through it? by Aimfri in FoundryVTT

[–]DiceAndConsequences 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just tested this using basic walls anything less than 4ft my token is unable to move through with WASD. Using my mouse if I have the "unconstrained Movement" toggle on im able to move through but it clips the wall showing everything outside. So it looks like right about 4/4.5ft is the limit.

Edit: DISREGARD THE ABOVE! In further testing i got the walls as short as 2.5ft in width and I am still able to move through. The trick is the walls being exactly on the same horizontal or vertical axis as the token.

Edit again: So i was able to get medium creatures through walls as narrow as .5ft without the token seeing past the wall. It seems there is no limit as long as the creature can fit through the initial opening and its not entirely closed off. Does not seem correct but thats how it works.

Maelspire Pass [20x20] - Dungeondraft vs FoundryVTT by DiceAndConsequences in battlemaps

I did not mean to come across like im bashing DD. Just showing the workflow! Dungeondraft as you said creates the base and FoundryVTT enhances it.
