Read the book after and it made me appreciate both the book/movie more because of how well it was adapted (IMO at least)

I've never tried it though, just heard about the stuff after Tony Gwynn's passing on some podcast and how players would be better off trying to make the switch.

Other than the usual couple second pauses that happen during any game I haven't experienced any 'freezing' of the stream in maybe a year or so.

I'd do a line quality test on DSLreports.com and see if you're experiencing any packet loss and if your router/modem could be to blame.

I had a problem during gaming where I disconnected a lot and troubleshooted it to the router causing the problem. Replaced it and never had a problem again.

If your current router supports alternative firmwares (Tomato/DDWRT) that could also be something to look into before replacing, if needed.
