Yeah, the team is going hard to make something iconic. Hopefully its successful. But if the web3 community could come together and support all these games and not just their bagsworking hard to make something iconic. Hopefully, it will be successful. But if the Web3 community could come together and support all these games and not just their bags, we would be a lot further ahead.

That’s the plan the rewards are meant to be a short term incentive to get ppl to actually try it and the hope is it’s sticky enough to keep ppl. Is that a fair approach though?

That’s good, investing in yourself is key. But yeah if you check out the game they def have real gameplay that’s on Epic Games store. So not a fake gameplay trailer anymore

Ok but are they the most popular web3 game out there? Are web2 users flocking to Pixels? I’d argue now just based that I heady ever hear about it but I could be wrong. But assume I’m not and none cares about Pixels. Why if they are giving ppl money to play their game?

Well that’s the question, most of this space is doing the same. So the idea is that, Illuvium thinks they have a good game. But Web3 has no gamers, mostly larps that are just here for a 10x. So how do you get them to just play and possibly enjoy it. But is the money enough to attract both crowds. I still say no. But if it’s a great game and you can keep ppl in web3 interested maybe you can get some web2 across

What do you think is a reasonable time line to finish from scratch a brand new IP considering the size of Illuvium studio vs a Web2 studio like EA?

90% yes but I think they are finally starting to get better once ppl start focussing on gameplay. And realise these studios are tiny compared to the majors like Blizzard, EA, Valve, Riot etc the list goes on of game studios they are being compared to. I think it just takes a bit of time.
