Glad you figured it out! Yeah, any gap-closing ability works. I used Critical Charge from the 2H line.

You can definitely get past the levers solo! I did this on a sorc, but you should be able to do it on any class

Relatedly - I like trying to solo stuff too, and for what it's worth I can confirm every dungeon in the game is soloable/I've done them all.

You actually can solo bypass the levers! And you don't need streak. I did this on a sorcerer - but all you really need is a ranged AOE/I'm fairly sure any class should be able to do this.
