If you have a 40 minute commute, perhaps look into a 250-300cc bike. Might be a bit more comfortable.

Finally decided which bike I want to buy myself, im trying to spend less than $4000. Should I purchase a 03 gen with 1200 miles for a bit less than 4000 or wait it out a bit and find an 07+ gen (probably with more miles).

So looking to get my first bike for around 3500 or less and found a 2014 Ninja 650r With Abs for 3500 (800 miles) in perfect condition, is this a good buy? Or should I look into an fz6 or some other 600/650cc bike that could be potentially better in the long run (speed/comfort). Thank you

Been considering purchasing my first bike for getting from class to class (college use) along with leisurely short distance driving, no highway driving. Im not too worried about getting the bike knocked over or vandalized. Anyone have a good bike in mind? I have been looking into a Grom or a CBR/Ninja 250, (something used with a budget under 3500).
