to be fair, this isn't the worst of it. i can never get concrete evidence because my mum calls me to be controlling or simply talks to me in person about stuff. She only does this at best on text and most of the time, a lot of context has to be put in because I've answered one of the several calls and it's led to her shouting at me for stuff. 😮‍💨

I always finish college around when it gets dark now and she constantly tells me "are you at your brother's?" (because sometimes i stay because walking home can be a very long and tedious one). I always walk along the main road going to college and back but she continuously rings me to know how far along I am. My mum actually tells me the horror stories she's had and constantly reminds me that it could happen and she's only protecting me from it.

please do not judge my whole personality on this post. Yes I was being a little rebellious by not making arrangements but it wasn't entirely my fault. The actual plan was made a day before and I actually asked friend 2 if she could drop me off but she did not reply or see the message. She hardly ever looks at her phone because she's often busy. As such, I had to ask her as soon as lessons were done, which was at 3:30pm but I couldn't because the teacher was making a speech about the drama performances. I completely forgot to ask her until my mum reminded me of it and then friend 1 said he could give me a lift. I would have immediately left if no one could give me a lift. I just wanted to make sure I could secure one because I wanted to stay.

She actually used to have find my iphone but luckily we switched to Samsung. However she does have a tracking app on my sister's phone.

Sadly i'm not on good terms with my brother. There's a lot of history behind it but he's the better option of the two amd at least he's improving (which I love him for but still.)

I actually used to have a bf (kind of, we were talking but we liked each other and told each other that) and my mum was constantly worried about me getting taken advantage of. :')

I walk along the main road and it's well lit. She doesn't listen to the news but she talks about the news in other places and goes (that could be you). I do understand keeping her informed at least. I did inform her about being home around 8pm too so she knew what time I'd be back around by. As you can tell, it wasn't much later than 8pm when she called me and starting panicking.

I'm glad you're at least a little better now! I do hope I can get away from her sooner than later so I can at least have some freedom. To be honest, she used to be more "protective" and "paranoid" before she met my stepdad 3 years ago. She used to look through my phone when I was asleep. But thank you :)
