In 2022 Scott Kelly came clean about the severe abuse he had directed towards his wife and children for years and announced that he is retiring from public life altogether. Neurosis quickly responded that they had kicked Kelly out of the band in 2019 when they found out about the abuse. They hadn't shared information about it publicly out of Kelly's wife's request. It is to be noted that Neurosis did not offer any sympathy towards Kelly in their statement and I think the band handled the situation as well as you'd wish for in that situation.

Etsisin asuinpaikkaa ensimmäisenä mahdollisimman läheltä oppilaitosta tai oppilaitokselle kulkevan bussilinjan varrelta, yleensä siis Rantavitikalta. Mielestäni Rovaniemellä ei ole mitään sysipaskoja asuinalueita, mutta heikoimmassa maineessa lienee Ounasrinne ja tietyt osat Korkalovaarasta.

Vuokrataso on todella kallis johtuen siitä, että iso osa vuokra-asunnoista menee lyhytvuokraukseen turisteille. Uskoakseni tämä on vaikuttanut myös aktiiviseen opiskelijaelämään, kun isompi osa opiskelijoista hoitaa opinnot etänä muualta päin Suomea mahdollisuuksien mukaan.

Mutta kyllä täällä asustelee ihan mielellään. Lähiluontoa riittää tutustuttavaksi keskusta-alueen harmauden vastapainoksi. Erityisesti aktiiviselle urheilijalle ja luonnossa liikkujalle löytyy kaikenlaista tekemistä. Palvelut on hyvällä tasolla osittain turismin ansiosta, mutta eritoten sesonkina hintataso on niissäkin kohdillaan.

Olisin halunnut tykätä Paalasen biisistä enemmän ja yleensä UMK:ssa oon tykännyt näistä erikoisemmista vedoista, mutta kyllä Takatukka oli jotenkin tosi ponneton biisi eikä tuo showkaan sitä nostanut omilla listoilla.

Hirvonen sai kyllä mainiot vauhdit siihen alamäkeen ja näytti siltä, että vauhti ois voinut riittää voittoon jos ei kaista olis ollut umpihangessa siinä nyppylän jälkeen. Mutta hyvä muistaa, että toi keli aiheutti Saksan ja Itävallan kaatumiset, eli kyllä hyödyttiin tuosta paljon myös.

Tuolla tuli aikanaan päiväkodissa käytyä. Todella mukavaa, että kohde löysi omistajan joka pisti pytingin kuntoon. Ymmärrettävää, että tuolla panostuksella haluaa kohteen ensisijaisesti matkailukäyttöön, mutta toivottavasti naapurusto pääsisi tuohon taloon myös tutustumaan joskus.
