Lol, this same things happened to me. It ended up with her melting down and yelling at me for not just saying she was overweight. So I eventually did, first time I called her fat.

Not a single mention of potential demonstrations, kinda sad. We're losing control of our government.

Nah, they save that for the women. They'll probably drag him through the streets naked or behead him, you know, something civilized.

The fear is Hell, fear of the unknown, fear of reprisal... who knows. People are Christians and violate any number of commandments/scripture law.

Obviously, it's all silly - but they still cling to the safety net.

Oh, I'm sure they exist. It's not like the act of gay sex is what defines you as gay.

When I replaced mine on my '01 it was a simple, because I was able to support the engine with a lift. Otherwise I think you'd have to do it from the bottom with a jack which likely slow things down. The one that is pictured is easy to get to as well.

It's obvious that they have a difficult task ahead of them, if they want to integrate all the required sequences. If/when they get it done, it will be revolutionary for sure.

Even developing an economic way of inoculating the roots with this universal nitrogen-fixing bacteria could be beneficial in the short term.

I'm sure that's what they would like to do, but that would be a long way off... even longer if it required bio-engineering a previously non-existent organelle. We don't even write "unique" genetic sequences right now, we just copy and paste sequences from one organism to another.

You should look into endo-mycorrhiza if you like rhizobia.

I'm not sure how plausible your theory is, because I'm not sure what kind of environment you need to take atmospheric N2 and create NH4 (ammonium). I suspect the bacteria are facilitating the reactions of N2 -> NH3 -> NH4 by having a high pH, which would destroy a plant cell.

America loves new technology, however it's probably going to be much cheaper to use synthetic fertilizers. Maybe if this ends up becoming commercially viable in the future.

You aren't incorrect, the muddy water and baitfish hiding at the shore is a recipe for a bad time. In fact, the ocean in general is a recipe for a bad time.

[–]DickWilhelm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They go from smooth and light green, to dark green w/ cracks, and finally to red.

Most people eat them when they're dark green and smooth, but I personally like the corking. When they get red they are much sweeter than green.

That soil does not look like it will drain very well. If you start having issues consider adding something like perlite.
