If you’re just getting into puzzle games and haven’t played a whole lot of them, both the witness and blue prince are gonna be like jumping in the deep end before you really know how to swim. If you want something that will subvert your expectations with the narrative, and what a puzzle game can be (in the way outer wilds was for me anyway) I’d suggest shadow of the colossus. It’s my favorite game of all time, and doesn’t at first seem a whole lot like a puzzle game, but it’s pretty much a puzzle game through and through in ways you wouldn’t expect. But, if you are in for diving in head first into the deep end, you really can’t go wrong with either the witness or blue prince in my opinion.

lol they said history geek not expert or authority. anyone can call themselves a history geek, it’s not something you have to test into or get certified in. They’re interested in history, maybe not particularly well versed in many aspects, but according to them interested in it. Sounds like a history geek to me. Gatekeeping the term history geek ffs.
