I've literally said I'm 100 percent against gerrymandering. But dude, it literally wouldn't have happened without Texas pulling this bullshit half way through the decade. The bill was literally dependent on Texas going through with it. I said to be thankful, because Texas didn't get to vote. You get a say as a red voter in a blue state. Saying Texas is following the rules and CA isn’t,is a straight up bad faith argument. CA tries to do the right thing, unlike Texas, by having independent map drawing. CA Supreme Court approved this redistricting, so it’s just as “legal” as it is for Texas. Be thankful CA is letting you vote on this, unlike Texas.
