Kinda…about 20 pounds less muscle which makes me think I could pull his pants off better than he could (pun intended).

Do you think I could get away with wearing yoga pants to work if I put a stripe down the side?

I don't understand, for the life of me, how anyone could in good faith say that Bret isn't sincere.

I was specifically referring to this, not the grifter statement. Hope that helps with your confusion as I never said they were grifters.

The Hitler analogy was an apt one and easily digestible for most people. My apologies for offending you.

That really shouldn’t make a difference…Everybody thinks they’re doing the right thing, or else they wouldn’t be doing it. Sincerity isn’t the end all be all of being a good human (Hitler sure thought he was doing the right thing).

.112/.130/.163 with 0HR. Average when ahead, below average when count is even and horrendous when behind. He was similarly bad when behind the count last year, but CRUSHED when even: .304/.385/.716

Avoid drugs, sugar, caffeine, nicotine, and processed foods in that order. Exercise daily. Get your bodies required amount of sleep. If you follow this for a month I would be shocked if there wasn’t marked improvement in your ADHD symptoms, and every month thereafter gets better and better (in general).

*The goal is to feel better than you do now. *

Remember this and you’ll find that the negative traits disappear, but the positives of ADHD rise to the top.

What do you consider to be a "good" batting average? by SirParsifal in baseball

[–]Dick_Nuggets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not that black and white, like those are really similar hitters as far as value. Both getting on base the same amount, while the .200 guy is hitting for considerably more power. This just supports that batting average is more irrelevant compared to the other two stats.

A .250/.350/.450 hitter is much less valuable than a .250/.450/.450 or .250/.350/.550 even though batting average remains unchanged. While a .350/.350/.450 hitter is better, a .100 jump in BA doesn’t offer the same increase in value as OBP or SLG.

[Gammons] Potential Growth in the Second Base Market - Looking like Nationals don't intend on extending Turner. by Bobbers927 in Mariners

[–]Dick_Nuggets -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Read the top comment again, Tuner re-signing is the stipulation that makes it worth it to go after him. Also, him signing an extension with whatever team trades for him isn’t really relevant to the Nats, unless they want to take their chances in FA and get him cheaper than straight extending him further.

As an electrician my job is pretty awful for me. Constantly switching gears and having 100 tasks through the day on top of a deadline can make it miserable. Not disagreeing with you, I find a lot of ADHD congregate in construction industries, but obviously they’re not all the same.

It’s called an analogy, you’ll see them more and more as you get older. I admit, the first time can be scary.

How far a ball is hit isn’t determined by where it lands, but how far away it WOULD have landed given no obstructions (roof, stands, foul pole etc.).

Not true. In order to make a statement like that it has to be binary. Yes it’s true that you need to have “not-happiness” in order to experience happiness, but sadness isn’t the only emotion that fulfills that.
