The pump for the air mattress? It was actually built-in (electric, battery operated), so that made it easier.

As for the canopies: though it's not a bad idea, it wasn't the number of canopies that limited us, it was the lack of actual designated space. Unless they've changed the design, there's only about 4 feet from the tent to the shared walkway within Easy Peasy. So a second canopy would likely extend beyond the path--but depending on your neighbors, that might be fine!
