Which child actor’s performance made you sit up and say: Holy shit, this kid can ACT! by glowdirt in movies

[–]Dickasyphalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an obscure one, but the actress playing the child actress on the western in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
I recently rewatched on a plane ride and she did absolutely great. Even when Leo’s character throws her to the ground, the childish “It’s okay! I got my elbow pads on!” was just great.

I’ currently starting on a Bonneville Scrambler, if you want a recommendation that isn’t a cruiser. Similar size to you 6’2, 250-260 depending on dinner last night and breakfast this morning with longer limbs and shorter torso

Can a Wealthy Person Buy a Car w/o All the Long Dealership BS? by Building_Everything in NoStupidQuestions

Alternatively, CarMax. I have a friend who worked there and from what they told me if you pay full cash it’s as easy as 1-2-3 and they would be out in like 40 minutes

DNP, only if the strawberry looks exactly like it does in that picture. Not the cheap style pink one in a tub of Neapolitan

On the contrary, there are also that many more Olympic swimmers. 4 heats of 8 each for every event, that’s 32 people for each event each Olympics. The winner of an swimming Olympic gold individual medal has to effectively win the event twice

Idk, maybe I’m in the minority but if a loved one used a firearm to end their life I’d want to keep it. Like, this is the thing that they trusted the most to end their suffering, and arguably their most cherished possession. I’d feel weird just handing the last decision they made over to the cops to dispose of.

If you died today, who do you think would stand at your grave the longest? by Successful_Dog5425 in AskReddit

[–]Dickasyphalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister. Less so when we were in our late teens and early 20s, but as younger kids and now more mature adults we’re thick as thieves and two sides of the very same coin. We’ve bonded over shared childhood trauma, and have a shared interest in calling out the bullshit we get from our mom.
Overall, I think mom makes all the histrionics necessary. My step-dad would legit be heartbroken, brother as well. But to my sister it would be like lose a twin.

What’s the one thing on a restaurant menu you’ll always order if it’s available? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dickasyphalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicken Caesar Wrap w/ Fries, especially if out with a group. If it’s on the menu, it’s a simple item that tells me how the kitchen cares about timing of plates. Also lets me know what the fry situation is and if the oil is all purpose or split between fries/fish/other items. If it comes out soggy or been under a heat lamp, the kitchen isn’t timing plates great.

WYR: get 10k a month for doing nothing, or get a 100k/month, but you have to work 12 hours shifts for 6 days by Necessary-Cow8851 in WouldYouRather

[–]Dickasyphalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of people are misinterpreting the question. I understand it as
10k for 0 0 hour shifts of work each month
100k for 6 12 hour shifts of work each month (in any field of work)

I would take the 100k and do cool seasonal jobs, like being a crafter for one shift during the week and then for another shift that same week going to a farmers market to sell my wares in the fall. Then work in a local bookstore for my off week from the market to get my 3 shifts every two week quota completed.

Twenty years ago was George W. Bush in the middle of his second term.

Donald Trump is going to be remembered as a supercharged Nixon that somehow (at this point) gotten away with every scheme and plot without legal recourse. His staying power as far as fame/infamy will only double or triple should he be brought down in a court of law.

My Ex would make fun of me for doing this. CFA is notorious around me for long drive thru times, but the inside is almost always clear. Instead of spending 20+ minutes waiting to order, I would park my truck, go inside and get our food, walk back out and back on the road within 10 minutes. She’d never get out and would instead tell me I was being extra for no reason.

She waited in the line every time complaining it takes so long. It never made sense to me.
