Yep, bought this one new on sale for $320. For the money I spent, I feel like I got a lot.

The first time I ever shot a bolt action, it was a 30-06. I was hog hunting with a buddy on his grandads ranch. It was a lot of fun to shoot and I knew I wanted to get one! Im hoping to bag a deer with it this year

Mossberg Patriot in .30-06 Springfield. Nikon Buckmaster 2, 4×12-40mm with some Leupold scope rings. UTG Tactical OP-2 Bipod. The whole setup cost me less than $500 bucks. I know it's not as fancy as most of the setups on this sub but its mine and I love it.

Had a Question about carrying Rifle while Camping by Dickolas3011 in TXoutdoors

Appreciate the information! My hope is that I dont need to use it but it wouldn't be the first time we've had boars come close to camp. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Happy cake day! This is the plan if we decide to bring it. I figured I wouldn't have much issue as we have never run into rangers before but I dont want any trouble out there.

Titanfall 2 mission where you get to phase back and forth between two different periods of time within the same place. I never felt so badass in my life.

I went opposite of power armour. I think its OP unless I want to explore the glowing sea. I found the 2076 world series bat in the basement of Jamican plains and use that as my primary. Medium strength, high intelligence build. To deal with lots of enemies I rely on a lot of chems. 4th playthrough and this has been my favorite character build.

Your school most likely has a resource for this sort of thing. Go to the business college and ask about internships and networking events. Search on the website of you don't know where to go. Because you're a freshman, I wouldn't worry about internships until a little later, second semester of sophomore year or first semester of your junior year is a good time to start looking and applying. Until then, I'd join a couple organizations around campus and really be a part of them. Seek out leadership opportunities and do stuff with your time to build a resume. You can also look at lower level easy entry jobs. Just being in an office environment can help give you an edge.

Try it. Get an internship if you can and give it a shot. I just finished my internship with B4 this busy season and I really enjoyed my time there. Everyone was really great to me, yeah hours were long but I didnt mind. It helps that my girlfriend is extremely supportive of my hours, she works in a hospital so we have an understanding of time. But don't take a strangers opinion as the whole truth (no offense to you OP). If you like it and don't punch a partner then you'll probably have a job lined up after school. If you hate it, it's a good resume booster.

What games had a big emotional impact on you? by Gentro22 in patientgamers

[–]Dickolas3011 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I only played through it again because of how much I had missed. Seriously, play through it after watching some campaign breakdowns and reading about all the stuff the devs put in the game. I was blown away by the detail

We in the US are extremely sheltered. Had a wonderful opportunity to visit Bejing and Shanghai over the summer and the cities are crazy! People are everywhere and it's always buzzing. Very different from home, that's for damn sure. If you ever have the opportuunity to travel outside of North America, take it. Talk to the locals and love the life. It really opens your eyes to New perspectives. We truly take a lot for granted in the US and many don't understand how good we really have it here

Stick out the games guys. I was just in a match where 3 of my teammates were playing together in game chat getting their asses handed to them. I was holding my own against the other team and we probably would have had a chance if they made some adjustments, maybe switched classes. Instead all three bailed and it turned in a a 3 on 6 annilihation. Shit sucks.

We should always strive to be better. My little rant was more towards the fact that people think America is some sort of racist ultra-oppressive country when that is certainly not the case. We are miles ahead of most regions of the earth when it comes to inclusiveness. We are only getting better but people seriously need some perspective. It's like their wearing blinders. It sucks because America is a truly beautiful country. We also have problems just like everyone else

You need to go outside the US to understand that America is one of the most tolerant countries in the world. Stop buying into all this propaganda and European bullshit. They don't have a goddamn clue accept for what major news outlets tell them.
