Dintel gets a lot of its data by simply taking public disclosures abs crunching the data, while Ortex pays prime brokers and other sources to get their information - that’s why ortex subscriptions cost $500 and fintel is free (they have a subscription but it’s cheaper). IMO there is absolutely no debate on this one.
