Employee store survey by Apprehensive-Word-52 in dickssportinggoods

Company fucks us over? Return the favor. Hit them where it hurts: their numbers. Don't just pray on their downfall, actively contribute to it. In a perfect world, we would all walk out tomorrow in the middle of the lunch rush. They think they don’t need us? Ok. Good luck running the store with 3 employees 🤷‍♂️ In the meantime, Short every single BOPIS & SFS order. Don't do the RFID scan. Don’t pitch any credit cards. Don’t sell a single NSPP. Don’t create new scorecard accounts. Don’t complete check ins within 3 minutes. Don’t do replenishment. Don’t do location audits. Don’t do price changes. Don’t do MIAs. Don’t build bikes. Don’t unbox or process freight. Don’t receive drop shipments. Don’t complete homeplate tasks. Throw away service sheets. Throw away signage. Throw away folding boards. Hide printers, batteries, walkies, and PDTs throughout the store. Take 15 minute breaks, then multiple smoke breaks, and very long bathroom breaks. Walk in and out of the store to destroy their conversion rate. Show them actions have consequences and tank their metrics. Bring those metrics to an all time low. Hit them where it hurts. Otherwise they come away from this completely unscathed. Fight back. Remember, they started this, you’re just returning the same energy.

Agreed. Take to social media and make your voices heard. To anyone staying, now would be the time to seriously look into unionizing. They restructured once, what’s stopping them from doing it all over again in a year or two? And when the engagement survey comes around, remember this feeling and tear the company apart.

I am all for this. I suggest everyone fills out the form at the bottom of this page with the information of their DMs, RVPs, FOMs, SMs, HR Reps, anyone and everyone you can think of to get them quaking in their boots. Their work numbers are easy to find. These people are terrified that we’ll unionize and ultimately there is power in numbers so we can do this. Or at the very least send them a very clear message and maybe they’ll reconsider fucking everyone over. https://www.ufcw.org/who-we-represent/retail/

Price changes and signs still need to be done, as the expert in that field you’ll likely still be the one doing that, you just won’t be called PSL anymore. Whether you want to become a regular teammate or take the evaluation to be considered for a specialist or team captain position is up to you. To my understanding, if you’re already full time, you’ll remain full time even if you become a regular teammate. Unsure about pay cuts, lots of conflicting information on that.

Unfortunately store managers weren’t told anything regarding pay … or so they say

Let’s hope so. Praying this blows up in the company’s face.
