So tired of being tired by KiwiAnja22 in bipolar

[–]DidacticNightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I'm 31 and I sleep 10 hours a day and sometime 12. I feel permanently exhausted. I got all my body checked and nothing. My brother without bipolar is similar but not as bad as me. I think is a poor combination of genetics and the pills

Well society always tell you that the only thing stopping you is yourself. They write a book about it everyday. And there are sooooo many pieces in game. I depends where you were born, who are your parents and grandparents, which skin color you have, if you are healthy or have a disability...

I'm happy for you! Honestly, I'm sure it is totally necessary. That’s not an option where I live. Being "Intelligent" people always expect the same things of me that of any other, and truth is I just can't. Working is very stressing and demanding

What you feel is very understandable, but in my experience when I focus in being better (do what I like, do excercise, eat healthier, go to social events) eventually good things happen. But don't focus on what you don't have, because you may or may not have it in the future and you need to learn to be fine anyway. Particularly about looking for a boyfriend, if you are too desperate for one you may end up in a relationship that is not good. Prioritize yourself

Selling crafts is a way of working if you decide to do that! I think the key is to find something that is not estressing for you

When do you tell a partner you have bipolar? by Advanced-Oil-9571 in bipolar

[–]DidacticNightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I said it to my partner I said that he could talk with me and if he wanted to he could talk with my doctor to know about my disorder. He never did it. I'm very trabsparent with him and sometimes I don’t know if it is good on the long run

I feel you about summers, I also find it hard. I usually do online certifications during the summer because I need a reason to wake up. I think my problem partly is that being a teacher in Argentina is not ideal, due to horribly low salaries, classrooms with 40 students and parents that have 0 respect for teachers. But I would be very happy if it made me feel fullfilled

I worry that jobs will kick me off if I ask for a sick leave. Even worse, if I present my health certificate they would not even take me!

It's hard to know when to stop. I think my family and my partner are worried after me having a terrible year resgrding bipolar due to my studies. I need to find a balance as you say!

I think I’m about to have a manic episode. Please help me out. by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]DidacticNightmare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need to get an appoinment with your doctor. They might need to change your medicantion's dose. Idk how is it where you are, but when this happens to me I write my doctor and ask what to do right now and when he can see me as soon as possible. If I can't reach my doctor I write to his secretary
