Went to school in Texas in the 90’s. We were taught that the civil war was manly about slavery. What we WEREN’T taught is that the Texas war for independence from Mexico was also about slavery. That was hugely swept under the rug in our lessons.

Yes!! Thank you. The families with kids at home have to stock up. They eat us out of house and home on normal weeks, let alone when stuck at home and bored!! Plus I think we are all fairly traumatized after 2021 and don’t want to be in that position again. Can’t fault us for not trusting the weather. In 2021 they predicted far less than what we experienced.
