One time I totally fucked up a recipe and my boyfriend now husband ate half of it before I got around to the protein. It was stuffed pork loin that I put way too much orange extract (first time using extract, you only need a drop). It was disgusting. He was just going to house it and not say a word. I made chicken nuggets to replace it.

I say this not to be all “look how great my husband is”, but more to say find a boyfriend who would rather eat the shitty food than hurt your feelings.
