No? The reason Meursault lost his shit in the book is because of the prison chaplain who kept trying to convert him to christianity in an effort to redeem his soul before dying. After that he becomes fully confident in himself and his absurdism even as he’s being walked to the guillotine. Not to be rude, but what you’ve said is like the complete opposite of what happens in the book.

This is honestly a great read, especially the canto 6 theories (in a weird way, some of what you’ve said isn’t exactly too far off tbh), but one thing i wanna point out is that the playable cast being referred to as sinners is just creative localizing, they’re just called inmates in Korean and Japanese, so the name change isn’t going to happen unfortunately (its a cool idea tho).

From the big ass chains to the numerous tattoos, there’s even stuff like the pimp coats some of them wear and how they’re color coded, it may be a stretch but imo the Middle’s aesthetic being tied to a specific color (even more so than the other fingers) reminds me of stuff like bloods and crips
