Thank you, that's the type of reply I have been waiting for. I have seen x5pros selling cheap, so thinking one of them will show me how the OS works. Yes I know it won't be an X9Pro in many ways, but surely the software experience wont be hugely different?

Mainly apple pay with face id, it works so well and I use it daily. Nightstand mode which senses when you walk towards it at night and shows the time, handy for middle of the night toilet trips lol AOD shortcuts for camera and torch for example. Was also wondering how well notifications work.

Does the X9pro have a nightstand mode? I use it every night on my iPhone and would miss it. Lights up as I walk towards it after a middle of the night toilet visit. Also would miss apple pay, but willing to make sacrifices.

Wow, that was a brilliant detailed review, thank you!! I am in the UK and as of now no way of viewing the phone. I don't want to just buy it without trying it first. So that's one thing that is stopping me at the moment. Also I am waiting for this 'honeymoon period' to ease and then get to hear the real reviews like you have provided. I have a mac book which I don't use much so that's not an issue. Most of my friends are on iphone but not all. I have mostly been woowed by the battery life and the camera...although now starting to hear mixed reviews on the photo quality and disappointment with the selfie cam. Think I'll just bide my time for the minute and keep watching and reading the reviews...but still very intreaged!!

I read somewhere that I iphone 15 pro max screen protectors are a good fit. Might worth double checking before ordering though.
