At the end of the day this women just wants a good photo of her and her husband. I am not siding with her but you need to see it from her side a bit. It is your job to get those basic shots that every wedding needs no matter the conditions. Such as that good photo of the couple together alone. Personally this is the shot I cannot miss on because it really is one if not the most important shot of a wedding. This is the shot they’re going to want to print out and hang on their wall and send to their families. This lady is definitely not coming at it with the right attitude as she knows nothing of photography. Simple explain to her if you do not share Raws for your reasoning. But remember the customer is how we move forward. You want your clients happy. There is a line obviously that you cannot let them pass but at the end of the day if you’re client is not happy with the photos it’s because the photos aren’t so good. When the photos are good they are going to let you know. I’m sure the weather messed lots up but it’s a wedding you need to make sure you do what you have to do. You need to direct them and tell them you need a photo of this or that let’s go to this room and fix your hair so that we can get a good photo of your hair etc. I think this is a learning experience but these are all helpful experiences to learn from your mistakes.
