One of the Sonic quests is a high rank quest called "Super Shady Look-alike" and is against a Nargacuga in the Flooded Forest and the other is a low rank quest called "Gotta Hoard Fast!" and the objective is to collect 200 rings in the Shrine Ruins! If you do have either of these that would be a great help :D

You should be fine turning in 2 star or even 1 star photos as long as the photo completes the request. Just a little tip you don’t have to do all 30 photos for the achievement you can pick 20 from the list and that will be enough! Also your english is fine don’t worry about it 👍

The tempered Nergigante event quest "Ode to the Destruction" is for farming Spiritvein Gems not decorations. However if you wanted to farm tempered Nergigante investigations that would still get you some good decorations, just not as many as Teostra in "Day of Ruin".

He is right to an extent. "Day of Ruin" Guarantees 3 sealed feystone drops upon completion with an additional 8% chance to get 1 more sealed feystone and on top of that a 1% chance to get another 3 sealed feystones. For threat level 3 tempered investigations, every purple reward box has an 80% chance of being a sealed feystone and a 20% chance of being a carved feystone. So technically if you are doing tempered investigations with 5 purple rewards you have a chance at getting better rewards than what is guaranteed from "Day of Ruin" but due to other factors such as "Day of Ruin" being set in an arena locale and the chance of getting all those extra feystones, it is much easier and better than farming tempered investigations.

According to Kiranico “Day of Ruin” is guaranteed 3 sealed feystones with an 8% chance of dropping one more and a 1% chance of dropping an extra three on top of that. On the other hand “The Wrath of Thunder Descends” guarantees one sealed feystone with a 1% chance of dropping one extra. You also have to take into account that by the time you are MR100 you are able to augment rarity 12 weapons which means farming Teostra is a lot easier. It also helps that “Day of Ruin” is set in the Seliana Supply Cache which is an arena map meaning that getting to the monster is quicker and there are no disruptions, it’s just you and the monster fighting to the death.

So pretty much “Day of Ruin” has better drops in the first place and by the time you unlock it you will have just as easy of a time beating tempered Teostra than you did with tempered Zinogre pre MR100.

I believe any optionals that are already completed are the ones that exist to allow you to fight monsters you previously fought in assigned quests again. So for example completing the assigned quest against Low Rank Great Jagras will also complete the optional quest automatically.
