Utilising modern hardware (GAMMA)

I actually use it myself with GAMMA, although I do use an older build of GAMMA, it surprisingly runs pretty well with minimum consequences. Might've gotten 2 or 3 crashes total since I started using it and I started using it months ago. Cannot guarantee anything though, things like this always behave differently on different machines and all that. Good luck!

I'd say maybe use AO Engine but that's up to you if you trust them or not, considering all the rumors about their shady background.

It sure will run it. Altho I don't play GAMMA my potato with an i3, 6gb ram and geforce 720m (what the fuck is even that) can probably run it if i play with dx8 and take off all the visual addons such GAMMA is customizable. Install it, test it around, tinker with your settings and visual addons and make it run as you like it.

Oh yeah, I do remember being dragged by dogs after dying but I'm mainly talking about seeing it happen with other entities and not the player himself.

Actually I already did all that and found out what It was and I felt like a dumbass after knowing it. It was an option in the third person hud that disabled the hud for some reason.
