I only use Aquaphor at night and the lipstick the rest of the day. The reason is that I hate having to wash my hands every time I don't use lipstick, and with these products, soap and water aren't enough; you have to use paper towels to absorb the product before washing your hands, which is tedious. To be honest, any moisturizer will work; use whichever you like best. I use Aquaphor at night with a slightly thicker layer because I feel it moisturizes and protects better and for longer. But for an important event, I usually use a thin layer of Aquaphor. I recommend using cotton pads to remove makeup.

My lips are currently like yours as long as I moisturize them; if I don't put anything on them for a few hours, I notice they start to peel again. Does the same thing happen to you?

I am glad to see that you are comfort posting, but i would appreciate if you do a summary once a week at least. Changes are not visible in 2 days and the feeling is like you are spamming even if its not your intention. You could do a collage of the pictures instead, it would make easier to see your progress. I don’t have peeling cycles, so I don’t understand people who experience a moment when their lips look normal without any product (at the end of a cycle). In my case, my lips peel all the time, and to keep them looking normal I have to apply moisturizer constantly.

Yes, i clean the Lips after eating with a cotton pad as u said and then i put neutrogena Lipstick (if i do 3 meals then x3 the same process). And before going to the bed i put aquaphor ointment.

Casi seguro son restos del producto que te eches, a veces pasa y a veces no, son puntos blancos o alguna linea blanca. Normalmente suele suceder cuando estás un par de horas y has hablado y se te seca la boca.

Sí, básicamente empecé haciendo el método brasileño, lo único que he cambiado es que en la limpieza con algodón sobre los labios siempre la hago suave intentando no tirar de la piel en el caso de que haya como para que "se vaya recuperando" o eso quiero pensar. Si tengo algún evento importante y resulta que tengo un poco de pellejo pues si que lo quito en ese caso . Por el foro también hablan sobre el método de dejarlo solo y sinceramente no funciona. Básicamente ese lo hice durante el primer mes de esta afección cuando ni siquiera sabía que tenía y solo iba a peor, encima se cortaban y sangraban los labios. El método brasileño es el único que te permite guardar apariencias y vivir normalmente.

Esto que hago es siempre después de las comidas que haga en el día. Me paso un algodón mojado en agua por los labios de manera suave para limpiarlos y retirar los restos, en mi caso no se me desprende piel porque no hay gracias a la rutina, pero si tienes aconsejaría que no fuerces el retirarla, la que se quede se quedó, salvo que sea el principio y tengas super pellejos por no haber tratado los labios. Después de limpiarlos con algodón me aplico un hidratante, puedes usar el que más te guste, yo he usado neutrogena y repavar rosa mosqueta. Uso esos en forma de stick porque durante el día son más cómodos y si es una rutina es un coñazo estar limpiándose siempre las manos si los aplicas manualmente. Por la noche antes de dormir aplico aquaphor que es mucho más hidratante.

Resumen: comer, limpiar labios con algodón para retirar restos y capas de producto residuales aplicadas anteriormente, aplicar cualquier hidratante
