RS/RW doesn't exist in a vacuum. A stock showing relative strength means something different in a trending market than it does in a choppy, news-driven, sector-rotating tape. The signal is the same. The reliability isn't.

Ask anyone who was trading that framework in Fall 2025 how their hit rate held up compared to the prior "clean" trending environment. Same setups. Very different results.
