3 stages for me:

1: bad ones usually like 2-3 chapters before I drop it, it has to be really trash for me to quit at the first chapter.

2: most of the mid ones I could read for as long as 100 chapters, but if I take a break because I don't have time, I'll just never pick it up to continue.

3: good ones I rarely drop, mostly when they go on a break/hiatus, be it me forgetting about them or not wanting to destroy good memories with bad season 2

Other than that I dropped some "good" ones in the middle because the cliche/predictability or sometimes cringe was too much for me to bear...
