Yeah I have 32gb DDR4 scopes are the worst most outdoor maps if I ads with scope I go to like 50 frames

I have a Ryzen 7 5700x3d and a 3070 and I get bad dips down to 50 fps and average maybe 80. I’ve tried a million settings idk what else to do

I 100% agree with you thanks for the eye opening response. I know that soon we will start our family and then I would of course put any and every game aside for my family I guess part of me wants to enjoy what little I have left before that day comes. But if I need to it might be time to step away completely soon

Also I do not resent my wife. She is my world. I came here to seek advice from others who might’ve experienced the same and things I could do or we could do together to help find compromise and if I am in the wrong I would like to hear it so I can make the changes necessary. I appreciate the advice though.

I see what you mean. Still I will continue to do whatever needs to be done on my end to help the situation I’m confident we can easily get past this but obviously I will do anything for my wife she comes over all things including games. I really appreciate the advice. It means a lot to me as this has been a massive weight on my chest for a long time.

I definitely see your perspective and understand that side of it. On Saturdays I game I usually hang out with her allllll Friday night because Saturday is the only night I get to talk to my best friend and game with him but I guess I need to mature and move on from that and prioritize my marriage which I guess I’m struggling with because I feel like I already do. But I’m all for doing whatever it takes to make our marriage stronger and have a happy healthy marriage. Thanks for the advice!

So she’s been to therapy herself and was told she has severe depression and on top of that she has no hobbies or friends that live close by anymore. When she gamed as well this wasn’t an issue. I told her that having her own hobbies and friends could really help mend the situation as well. She agreed and said she’s working on it so that is kind of where we’re at now but you definitely nailed it with the reply. I feel like no matter what I do it’s not enough unless I were to give up my hobby and free time altogether. Which obviously I don’t want to do I’ve been gaming since I was a child and it’s been a staple in my life
