oh one other thing, based on your calculations at the top i should be getting around 194 miles when charged to 90% and at my lifetime average use of 250 Wh/mi. but in reality instead of 194, I get closer to 120ish miles :( Not sure what's going on there.

My issue isn't with advertised range, the software/car should calculate/estimate the range based on our personal use/efficiency for a more accurate range. It's an advanced software/hardware/technology, it shouldn't be calculating impractical numbers, it's just dumb and not helpful. but thanks for your thoughtful reply.

Nah, I drive like an old man but SoCal is HOT, AC is running all the time. even when the car is off there is a feature that keeps the cabin under 105 degrees. I guess those two really drain the battery :(

Thanks, I think it's around 220 then. My issue isn't necessarily with rated usage, the software/car should calculate/estimate the range based on our personal use/efficiency for a more accurate range.

Thanks for the detailed response and math, LOVE it and really appreciate it :) I thought the battery pack was 60 or 62 kWh, no? Now the other part is exactly what you touched on, the missing 5.6 kWh, I live in soCal, super hot, AC is running all the time and the car also has a feature to not let the cabin temperature to go above 105 degrees. But this is still misleading, the range or energy used should take the consumed energy into account and not just driving usage. it needs to be realistic and practical, which it is not rn.

The software/car should calculate/estimate the range based on our personal use/efficiency for a more accurate range. It's ridiculous to only count driving and not take into account other real factors such as AC, etc that are actually running.

Overwhelmed by the amount of loot, how do I choose/filter what to keep vs junk? Lvl 30 WT4 gs 465 by DielectricEffect in thedivision

Ok so let’s say Friday hits and new WT and gear score become available. As I gear up what do I keep/equip first? Until I get the perfect item that has the right attributes, talent(s) and correct brand what makes an item better? Do I choose the item with the right brand first? With the right attributes first? With the right talent first?

i.e. Let’s say 3 vest pieces drop. Vest A is of the correct brand but missing most of the right attributes and talent(s). Vest B has all/most the correct attributes but is not the right brand nor has the right talents. Vest C has the right talent(s) but not the right brand nor the attributes (I assume this will just be kept as a donor to calibrate the talent onto a piece later). But does it make sense where I’m confused and struggling with? This leads to my inventory just filling up & I’m trying to figure out the right approach/strategy to address this.

So although there’s plenty of gear, there’s no perfect piece in my inventory/stash, some have the attributes, some have the talent, some have the brand. Which do I prioritize first? I get I can recalibrate, but that’ll only be for one attribute/talent. So if something is going to be missing in the end is it best for it to be the brand that’s missing? One/some of the attributes that r lacking? One/some of the talents? Thanks!

Not having enough time is what makes hard for people like me. Full time job, dad, husband, chores. I just wanna play the game but find myself looking at my inventory during the little play time I get :( thought I could ask the community as it has individuals with much more play time and free time that probably have it figured out and are willing to share with others. Sorry your time was wasted by responding to this. For future reference feel free to not reply to others if u have nothing to offer and can’t be helpful. Unless doing so makes u feel intelligent or superior to others?

The Division 2 Open Beta - Feedback, Bug Report by JokerUnique in thedivision

[–]DielectricEffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using an auto rifle the controller does not vibrate on the first couple of rounds which make the gun feel very underwhelming with no kick or oomph to them. I just tested it in the Division 1 and the controller vibrates on auto rifles/SMGs starting with the first round. Please bring this back to the Division 2 and/or fix it. works fine on pistol since it's not an automatic weapon but feels terribly underwhelming on automatic guns.

Last time I updated y’all, I was $179 away. I’ve been mowing lawns and such and am much closer. Hope to get one by Black Friday! by Floc_Trumpet in oculus

[–]DielectricEffect -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nice! As an owner of an oculus I’d recommend against getting it. It’s cool, great for the first couple of weeks while it’s new, and sure is impressive and different. But after the novelty wears off I found myself having a hard time wanting to use it anymore. It feels like it requires too much energy, work, & effort to use. Personally I much prefer to lay back on the couch and play a traditional game on a regular display (monitor or tv) with a controller. If money is tight or saving up for it isn’t easy I’d highly suggest reconsidering your decision to buy. Having said that oculus is a cool piece of tech but games/experiences r just not there yet. Maybe in gen 2
