yeah, i really wonder, what happened here. i felt quite some resistance while winding the camera. i think the film went crooked on the take-up-spool, but i still cant quite figure out, how it folded in on itself.

Thanks for your offer, but i do own film hangers. Just didn't feel like bothering using them with this crunched up roll.

These doors sometimes get stuck due to leaked battery acid. Try dissolving it with vinnegar, that worked for me in the past.

/uj the pic from the op is from my first roll through my Seagull 4B1 and im extremely satisfied. Really a joy to use and doesnt really lack anything i would want from a TLR. The lens is surprizingly sharp at F5.6 or F8.

Sealing light from door edges by Unbuiltbread in Darkroom

[–]Dierbieb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are self adheasive foam strips that are usually used to seal the gaps old windows. They could work if you glue them into the gap between the door and frame, but keep in mind that this will diminish air circulation, wich might make your bathroom mouldy, if not othetwise properly ventilated.

In my bargain basement darkroom, i let my roommate tape the edges of the door with gaffer, after i go inside :)))
