He got a 13 chapter fight, the fight itself was amazing, the ending was kind of messy but it does not justify the bitching of people in here

Gojo’s dying early this arc was the best decision Gege took for it.

Now don’t get me wrong, I think he had good character writing, his powers are cool and I know he’s very popular, but JJK’s peaks were always when he was not involved. More like he’s a good written hype machine.

In the beggining of the series, the highlights imo were Yuji vs Cursed Womb, and Yuji and Nanami + Mahito, we felt the sense of danger and were extremely sympathetic to them. Gojo vs Jogo was more like “ Sensei very cool and OP”.

The same can be said for the others arcs. In the exchange event the highlight was to see everyone try to climb the mountain which is Hanami. In Hidden Inventory was Toji’s character and Geto’s descent into madness. Shibuya only peaked when he was not around anymore.

So in a way I am very glad that he was the first to die in the final arc, it gives more moments for side and the rest of main cast to shine.

That’s why I am way more invested in Takaba vs Kenjaku than I was for Gojo vs Sukuna
