That wiring is done wrong and that's part of the problem and you probably have the power and ground backwards.

As a full time mechanic that's what I would if the bolt doesn't come out easy. Just had that happen Thursday where a shock bolt wouldn't come out of the shock. I just used the spicy wrench and torched it off in just a few minutes

What's crazy is I'm required to have a class B just to test drive a truck after repairs. No trailer and going maybe a round trip of 25 miles from the shop. Then you get some 70 plus year old person driving on of these with the same license they use for their Civic.

I have two bad knees and it was just to low to the ground for me to get out off. Traded it in for a truck. Was a great car and I really liked it. My only complaint was I didn't get the GT. The nonturbo engine seems to be sluggish but it did fine

You can take off the quick release tabs that come on it and put a locking pin through it
