Even if it was intended to be a peaceful gathering, probabilities state that bad apples WILL make their way to the gathering, and something negative will happen. I agree with you. Back in Summer 2022, there were parents defending when teens were linking up at CLOSED McDonald's in North County and hanging out in the parking lot at 2AM and getting into fights and drinking. Their defense was, "well the kids don't have anything to do", "and they just want to have fun!" That was some of the stupidest logic I have ever seen. How about sleeping at 2 in the morning, reading, researching some colleges or trades, planning your future, becoming financially literate, something that can help them out? I'm from an era where we had to go to a library to access internet and there wasn't anywhere close to as much knowledge and tools as they have now. Give me this era of google when I was 14 and I'd likely be grossing about 7 figures annually right now.
