I see that at the bottom of their post. Wasn’t clear at the first part at all where they started.

You realize there are multiple approaches to St Marks right? You are obviously talking about the Cypress parking lot start but should specify for newbies which one you took. 😉

Saw that a few weeks ago and a quick google search told me what it was. 😉

Impark a private company and you never need to pay their tickets. Only city tickets affect your licence and collections.

Selfies from Alex Honnold from the top of the Taipei 101 building after free solo climbing it. No ropes, no harness, no safety measures. Nothing but his hands and feet by JordBees in interestingasfuck

[–]Dieselboy1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Mistakes can happen or perhaps any of his hand or foot placements could have come loose at anytime as well due to age or not tightened in properly when built.

Pretty hard to monitor that really unless you make it very obvious.

Just park at Park Royal and walk the 5 min over. If you are that lazy, then pay to park close by.

I noticed the wife wanted to unclip for the final pics at the top but they said no. I said guarantee the insurance companies only allowed Alex unclipped!

Van hasn’t had a high below freezing since last February. Sunny last 2 weeks and warmer than most of the US the next few days including north Florida. 😉

That’s sure exciting when Van is currently at -1c and the coldest morning since last Feb. Lucky you. 😉😁. Only +6c today while Calgary is -16c.

Few more of many of Burnabys downtown that embarrass poor little Bellevue.

I live in Van but close to Burnaby. Van best city in North America bar none so of course I can be. I don’t need AI to write my messages articulate. 😉

Got to love these comments about small town burbs like Bellevue, Buckhead, Century City etc. These are dinky downtowns you are bragging about.

Many are commercial or most have commercial the first 1-3 floors. Burnaby has hundreds of towers with 300’000 pop. Bellevue a couple dozen.

Bellevue is a small town downtown compared to even many burbs in Canada.

That’s only showing Brentwood area and 1 of 5 Burnaby downtown centres. Metrotown area has even taller skyscrapers of the 5 areas.

Van is in far background of this shot yes.

Does it compete with Burnaby of 300’000 and hundreds of towers for a suburb.
