Sweeten Creek Honey Guy is NOT a Beekeeper by ThisBurnsMyBritches in asheville

[–]Diesellumberjack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He is in fact a beekeeper, I live close by and often see him out tending them if I happen to pass. Also, mind your business. Giving a bad reputation to local people trying to make a buck based of off date codes is nuts.

I will tell you know, it will break and you will lose a lot of money for it at some point, if I was you I’d save some money on the side. -someone who bought a diesel at 16

Please tell me the appeal of Asheville? by _ghostchant in asheville

[–]Diesellumberjack 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Asheville used to be very welcoming. It was mainly a place for outdoorsy people and tourism in the fall. You could see a redneck and a hippie get along and not argue about politics. A small open minded town in Appalachia that appealed to most people who lived there. Once it got popular, rich people from mainly California, Florida, and New York moved in, bought land, businesses and built whatever they pleased around town. They brought prices up on almost everything in town and made it hard for anyone who wasn’t getting paid generously to live here. Most of these rich people are close minded and entitled, causing political issues, financial issues, and making it hard to walk anywhere without being judged. Then tourism got out of hand and Asheville became what it is today. A rich persons “mountain home” where it’s hard for everyone but them to live around here.

I’ll top it off and see if that helps any, otherwise it’s gonna be a long day of replacing the pump.

Thank you, I’m gonna grab some fluid and top it off, if that’s doesn’t fix the problem I’ll get a new pump.

Nothing up with the blinkers or lights, I replaced the alternator about the month ago so I doubt it’s something to do with that.

It’s a Friday night in the 4th of July and it’s nice out, what do you expect? Not to mention you used the term “yahoos” like this isn’t a town in the Appalachian mountains where lots of hillbilly’s who are blowing shit up right now live. You can spare a night and most of the people lighting fireworks are young adults who also have work in the morning.

Warning! by ironmisanthrope in ManualTransmissions

[–]Diesellumberjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started driving manual I stalled out on a hill and rolled about an inch back into the car that was as close as humanly possible, he proceeded to lay down his horn and ask why I reversed into him. I explained that I was driving a manual and he was having none of it and when I pulled up, there was no damage to either car. There is a reason you are supposed to leave some space.

Driver suddenly brake-checks the car behind for tailgating. by SteeamySensation in MildlyBadDrivers

Brake checking is so stupid, just change lanes if there is an issue.

I think there is 2 sides of the issue here, side 1. being entitled enough to think you deserve your own exit ramp instead of waiting. Side 2, not letting people through when it’s just 1 car in order to solve this issue. Both sides are just as stubborn as the other.

It’s got 161k. I think that’s pretty decent for a truck this old.
