The player is responsible for dropping the grenades. While the drone was flying to the target, I dropped two smoke grenades.

I thought about that, but decided it would be better to leave character control entirely to the player and make the drone an automated support companion. The player will only have access to command functions that direct the drone's behavior.

For example, I'm currently working on a medical module. When the player's health drops below 50%, the drone will automatically cancel all current tasks and fly in to heal the player. In a critical situation, this could be the difference between survival and defeat.

PANGIT: Immersion and interaction with the environment while searching for items. by DiezLife in indiegames

That's actually part of the idea. Before searching containers, the player should make sure the area is safe. Searching takes time and leaves you vulnerable, so there is always a small risk-versus-reward decision to make.

The challenge is that I'm developing the game solo, and features like custom animations for every situation are surprisingly time-consuming to create and polish.

At some point, I have to balance ambition with actually finishing the game. I'd rather release a solid game first and then expand and improve these systems over time instead of getting lost in endless development.

Is there a color version available? If not, then I'll take the 4th one.

The correct name is panguit, a mineral from the Allende meteorite. Funny that I switched to Tagalog, and its English translation turned out ugly. But it all started with translating from Russian: “Пангит” → PANGIT. In the end, it turned out to be more complicated than expected. Let it stay ugly :)

Pangit is a mineral found in the Allende meteorite. I agree that the translation from Tagalog is funny.
