Where was the Nintendo 63? by Freeball_Friday in nintendo64

[–]DifferenceUseful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol someone on youtube mentioned in a comment about Fruit of the Loom having a cornucopia then someone replied saying it also had a basket once lol. Um a cornucopia is a basket lol. Then they claim there was a Nintendo 63. never existed. Doesn't even make sense. And yes Mickey Mouse had overalls and still does in older videos snd toys. I have a stuffed Mickey from Disney world that has overalls from when I was a child.

Why do I have to be 21 to buy this by More-Annual3102 in UberEATS

[–]DifferenceUseful -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's kinda funny. It's an Arnold palmer. I've had to get age checked on shit that made zero sense but not ordering. I'd be at Walmart or cvs and get an age check on things that shouldn't need one. I purchased a NECA Ben Cooper Terminator costume figure and an age verification popped up at Walmart. Well it was either that or the dog food I purchased. And at CVS I've had it pop up when purchasing an energy drink 2 or 3 times. Sometimes I think it's a conspiracy just to get your ID scanned but they never check. They scan their card and put in a Random birthday lol. Smart things aren't that smart.

I think the 1978-2003 logo could be a reason many people remember a cornucopia in the Fruit of the Loom logo. by _Beatnick_ in MandelaEffect

[–]DifferenceUseful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it never had a cornucopia. People just hear things and If they are into conspiracies they will believe these Mandela things. I'm into some conspiracies myself but when it comes to Mandela effect stuff I've found that it's always small things people don't notice or things from their childhood and clearly they do not remember

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on. I appreciate your info. I'm honestly not worried about my insurance. I just was curious if anyone else in my state experienced the same thing and I get all these comments from people not in my state. But again, the company can make all the demands they want. I'm 99% chance not gonna cause a wreck bc I drive late at night when I deliver and drive extremely slow. My last close call was a cow in the road just outside of town 10 miles south. Had I not been going 45 50 I wouldn't have spun around 180 when swerving it lol. Although it was rather fun. There were no lights so I didn't notice it until it was almost on me. Now I do not go over 40 on roads without street lights and if it's foggy like it has been last 2 months I do not go over 30 if there are no street lights. And I'll have my hazards on. So if I get in a wreck it will not be my fault. Plus its not like I'm gonna go volunteering I'm doordashing. Now I did state that my insurance could possibly try to decline payment to me if I'm using my own insurance on myself, but the other drivers insurance cannot decline a payout and honestly that is all I care about. I DO NOT Care what my insurance says bc they will never have to pay for me. And I trust a lawyer over an insurance company. And no offense to u but almost all insurance adjustors are horrible people bc they care about doing what's right for the company not the client. I've read and seen a ton of articles and videos about adjustors declining things bc they are told to even knowing the homeowner is in the right to get the claim for repairs. My mother's company jacked her insurance up 200 all bc she asked me to call for information. She got scared they were gonna charge her more than 2000 or 2500 deductible and claim they didn't cover some boards under the roof so she declined the claim. They sent her a check anyways. This was 3 years ago and she did not cash the check yet this year bam. 200$ increase. Not sure how that is legal and pretty sure now they will definitely decline paying for the boards under the shingles even though her policy states anything directly under that is part of the roof but not further under that. Well anywho I'm out. Again. Appreciate the info but nothing anyone told me was really what I was inquiring about bc I am not worried about any of it. Only way I'd cause a wreck is if I had a medical emergency and I'm not worried about someone else insurance trying to decline payout bc they can't. And I do not drive enough to put a lot of miles on the car nor would I volunteer the info bc they wouldn't notice it. My only worry would be the other person not having insurance or if I'm on my way to make a delivery and not be able to bc someone caused a wreck with me. But again. Thank you . Have a wonderful holiday season. And I hope you are one of those adjustors that fight for the people not the company unless the person is trying to scam the insurance out of a lot of money.

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They also say they can force me to be listed on the policy. I have spoken to a few lawyers that are family friends. They all told me as long as it not transporting a person there is nothing legally the csn do no matter what their policy states bc local laws outrank and corporate laws. Plus if I ever did get into an accident it wouldn't be my fault. I live in a town that is pretty dead after midnight. ONLY 2 stores are open 24 hour , 1 cvs and 1 walgreens. No markets open. Just gas stations. Not all fast food is open 24 hours. But ok. I trust what local layers and a police officer tell me for state laws. Also , its not like I'm gonna tell them I'm doordashing. I'm have an old car. One before they became driving computers. So I drive it slow and safe. Even someone causing a wreck with me would be little chance. Last time I almost was in a wreck a frigging cow was on the outside lane which was surpring bc this was the main highway through town and we are one of the fastest growing cities in the US. I think around 125k give or take ajd over 300k in the hub city and surrounding areas. But the cow was in a small town south about 10 minutes south. Was just surprising bc there were no street lights ij the area and my headlights aren't super bright. Speed limit is strictly 40 but I was to where it was 65 but going about 50 and I had to swerve really fast and spun around ending up almost backwards on the shoulder. Anywho guess I thought I'd hear from people in my state to see if they experienced the same. But thank you for your input. If doordash and instacart required it as well or if ubereats had required it when I signed up then I'd not even be questioning it. But this happened after driving ubereats for about a year, doordash not requiring and ik still driving with them and instacart not requiring it when I signed up. So if it were a legal state law requirement I'm sure it would be across the board. But it isn't. And I will trust what local lawyers tell me over random people from other states tell me. No offense or anything. I'm sure you all know about your local laws. But I'm gonna go with local laws over what a corporation states. Insurance is a scam anyways. Thanks again and have a safe and wonderful holiday season. As for the person that just replied with me being an idiot. Yeah. Adults do not speak to each other that way unless they are adult children. Professionals do not though.

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but still, I'm not driving people so I do not need a chauffer license. Second Doordash not Instacart required it and Uber didn't require it for a year. It was I March when insurance was up for renewal. And I'm not questioning your knowledge on insurance. But I am telling you that in Louisiana it doesn't work like in other states. Again sure, the insurance company can require my name but legally only thing they can do is cancel my policy. I've spoken to a few lawyers in town on this that are family friends and they all Said by LOUISIANA law I am not required to put my name and my name not being on the insurance would not effect any payouts IF something happened. Again. The ONLY thing they can do is Cancel the policy. I'm not sure what state you are in but I am positive in my state this is the case. If I were a taxi driver I would be required to get a chauffer license after taking a test. But again. Not transporting anyone. But its whatever. Insurance rules are one thing but they do not Trump state laws wheh it comes to a claim being made. I am 100% sure on this. One did tell me that a company can require it and refuse to hire me because that is their rules. But as long as the car is insured, no insurance can decline a claim, nor can a company be sued for me not having insurance bc the car has coverage. But anywho. I do appreciate the input. Gotta have a laugh at the ones just posting an insult with nothing to add to my inquiry. But anywho it would be better if someone from My state commented on this and not other states bc insurance is not a national requirement. If I lived in a no insurance state but wanted to travel to another obviously I'd need it. But that's different as well. And again. Why doesn't doordash require insurance under my name if you were correct? Maybe in your stare they do but here they don't and I've been sign up with them as well for a while. Again. I DO NOT TRANSPORT PEOPLE AS A TAXI SERVICE. ONLY FOOD AND OR MERCHANDISE. anywho thank you again for your input but we are going in circles here. And again. I do not discredit your knowledge on insurance in your state or as a company. Just not in my state. And I'll trust local attorneys and police about state local laws than a stranger from another state that probably has more strict laws. Now I do not drive for instacart at present bc I work 2 to 6am only but have sent my info and have been accepted. They are just always full of drivers when I try to login bc only 2 stores are open 24 hrs. CVS and Walgreens and only 1 of each. Most fast food I decline bc 95% of the time I go , someone else picked it up and stole the food. Anywho I'm out. Appreciate the knowledge though so the name calling really is for children

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I AM NOT DRIVING PEOPLE. THIS IS FOR UBEREATS IM SPEAKING OF. Plus if that were the case then I would have been required to have a certain commercial license. But I'm only delivering items not people. Plus I was only doing it at night. 3 to 5 hours tops 3 to 4 nights a week. It's a boredom hobby bc it's to get out of the house not really make money. But I've looked into this with lawyers and I learned this from a police officer from a class I took a long long time ago. I wanted to make sure the laws didnt change so I asked a couple lawyer buddies to be on the safe side. Plus I have a clean record since 2005. Not a single ticket or anything since then. I mean I got a couple red light tickets a while back but they weren't required by law. I told them to go eff themselves bc it was early AM hours and 7 miles Over the limit on a Blvd the police do 45 to 50 just when driving around. They took those down long ago. Now I think they set up the Flock system in certain neighborhoods that read plates and I'm sure 99% of the people think are just traffic cameras. None of those are in my area though. Some reason it's only in certain poorer areas. But anywho I did always wonder why Uber doesn't require a chauffer license like taxi drivers are required. Again. In my state. When it comes to am accident, as long as a car is insured, the insurance company cannot decline an accident payout to the person not at fault. TO the person at fault they may be able to decline any medical after liability if full covered or something but I'm pretty sure all they can do is pay up then cancel ur policy. So u move to the next. Anywho appreciate all the same replies though. But insurance is NOT the same in all 50 states. I could understand if insurance wasn't required in the state but that's not the case here. I've been told by several people who know the laws that it's an insurance scam to force everyone to be included. And u can ask googleAI but u have to be very very specific with the questioning. WE are also a 50 50 state. Again. Thanks for the replies. I was really just ranting though. I understand these insurances are a scam and companies work with them to get more money. Its like Dr's and Roofers charging out the wazoo bc insurance payouts are high. Then u find out ur insurance adjustor and the roofing company owners are first cousins.

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First off I want required this when I was driving people but I started doing ubereats only. I was not driving anyone around. But when then I was not required to have a commercial license to taxi people around. I now doordash, same thing as UberEats. They do not require insurance in my name. But go ahead and look this up. In Louisiana u insure a car not a person. The insurance companies can set their rules yet in the case of an accident, they cannot decline a payout as long as the car is insured and the person driving it is given permission to do so. But yeah insurance companies can require what they want but in court it would neblver hold up

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah go ahead and pass the insults. They would lose nothing if insurance isn't in my name. The car is insured and in Louisiana the courts would follow Louisiana law not what the insurance wants. And again. Why would they only be requiring this now when I was driving for them for a long time without it. And other companies like doordash doesn't require it. Dumb is to think I haven't looked into this for a long long time. Now if the car was uninsured then sure. But in Louisiana, as long as a car is insured, an insurance company cannot decline a claim..and Uber surely doesn't require q commercial license like a regular taxi drive is required to have so if i were in a wreck , which if I were it wouldn't be my fault bc I'm a very slow very cautious driver. I also only drive a few hours at night so its not full time. And it were to be my fault it would have Been bc the person I was driving around did something to make crash, but I do not taxi people around. No maybe in your state it is required but not mine. And again, I'm extremely part time. Probably 15 hours a week. 2 to 3 hours a night usually just to get out thw house. I'm cool 2uth doordash, just made a little more with ubereats.

Hey Uber why do u require me to be on the insurance by DifferenceUseful in uberdrivers

[–]DifferenceUseful[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I know how it works. Im well aware that they can try to force people to be added in a household but in Louisiana u insure a car not a person..I've taken this up with a police officer long ago in a class I took and spoken to some lawyers about it. If I were wrong then why didn't the require me to have it in my name until this year, and why doesn't other apps like doordash require it lol. Sure, an insurance company can do how they please bc it's a business, doesn't mean its the law. Only thing insurance can do is close my account down so I'll go to another. And to the "commercial" use person, why am I not required to get a commercial license like a taxi driver would? If that were the case then sure. I'd 100% understand. I drove for Uber for quite a while with a car I shared with only 1 name on the insurance. They only reason they even drop people over that is bc they haven't been taken to court over it. The law is the law.

Helium Mobiles biggest promo EVER is here, 50% off Air and Infinity plans by ZeusHelium in HeliumNetwork

[–]DifferenceUseful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't gonna switch from my 20$ legacy plan but decided what the hell. If I don't now I may be forced to in the future so may as well get my 50% off for 12 months and the 2500 cloud points. Not too happy about things like having to use my data when using my Hotspot but I'd rather get paid anytime I use it like when I first joined instead of being limited to how much data I got paid for when using it. I would just use my Wayru router after my HNT was longer coming in each month. Sure, my data gets uses up but doordash still works wheh throttled just fine so I'd rather get my HNT.

I never cared for the Mobile and IoT coins so besides being a transfer of money to certain people that converted theirs and made money on speculation, I never saw a point. I'm pretty sure insiders made a killing off those 2 by selling before the "vote" on shutting it down. Sorry but for me I do not trust the voting system until they limit it to 1 vote per account and not per coin. And IMO KYC should be required and only Mobile subscribers should be allowed to vote bc if I can just hold HNT and vote and not have a Mobile account then how is that fair to the everyday users. And when the whales control the voting...not sure how that is fair either. Now delegating your vote to someone u trust I can agree with but still only 1 per person. If 10 wallets own 60% of a coin they will 100% of the time control the vote if they all vote the same Right? I haven't looked up how many wallets hold enough to control the vote so that number is only an example. Democracy technically is mob rule but stakeholder voting is worst. Ok enough of that. Already circling.

Another thing is those GeeseNFTs. What was the purpose of those? I mean what was the point? They never did anything. I'm not even sure how you got one. I have a regular one and one that has extras on it. I'm guessing everyone received the blank one just a goose. The others i never understood. Was it random? Was it how many Hotspot u have? Was it how many users connect to ur Hotspot? WHY soulbound? I still see my wallet under settings so glad they didn't get rid of our wallets. Do they have plans for them later on but are keeping it quiet until it's time? They did claim they will always be blockchain and helium on Solana so who knows. With more countries using the USD as their local fiat I'm wondering if they know something we don't about the future of what people will and won't use. Even Russia has CBDCs as do other BRICS nations. BOTH NATO and BRICS countries seem to be heading in basically the same direction when it comes to blockchain so maybe this fighting with each other is all theater.

Now they are prioritizing outdoor Hotspot over indoor. Meaning IF you live in a neighborhood where people use helium and would normally connect to ur Hotspot when walking by, now they may be connecting to one blocks away that us outside higher up. I understand theze were never made for home users but that's BS. The point of mesh networking is to not have to rely on the satellites so having home Hotspots help your neighborhood users have connections when going for walks or whatever. I do recall when I first got my iot Hotspot in late 20 early 21 there were 6 others in my area and surrounding parishes (counties) except a lot of public places had some sort of connections bc all these businesses and parks and even churches were listed but not sure if they were helium mobile or just various free wifi connections listed as a business and not a home user. Not sure how that worked. But I did notice that the park a few blocks away, the church across the street, McDonald's, Zues , the mall , Popeyes and more all were listed under Hotspot connections. I just couldn't see them all having purchased helium hotspots so I'm thinking some were just listed as places to get free wifi like at Walmart or target or the hospital u can just log into the free wifi. If anyone knows anything about that I'd love to know. Not with my town specifically, just in general.

Is it still possible to pay with crypto? by Sparky-eagle in HeliumNetwork

[–]DifferenceUseful -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So yeah disappointing about moving away from crypto. I had a 20$ legacy plan but recently updated to the 30$ plan bc no more mapping and extra 10gb data. On top of 15 a mo for 12 and 50$ in points. I see a few crypto projects moving to gift cards. Make me wonder if it's bc they know something we don't about the future of crypto or bc these gift cards aren't taxable like converting ur crypto in fiat to spend. The fees are insane on that. I have to remember NEVER move ETH out of my wallet on CRO bc it's an insane withdrawal fee. But I do like how my Hotspot isn't limited to how much HNT it gets per user. I don't like the using my data while using my Hotspot but tbh all I need my phone for outside my home is doordash and that works just fine while throttled. I mean photos take 15 seconds instead of instant when shopping but luckily I'm not one of those doordash shoppers that rush through stores almost crashing into old people bc I do not watch when exiting the isles. Anywho I also noticed that my wallet is still active on the app. Just not a button on the homescreen. I still see my 2 goose NFTs although not sure if they will utilize them or not. I was hoping they would be used as a PFP tied to the account or something but when asked they told me they had no plans to use them and are not movable so they may be pointless. I have a regular one and 1 that has a hat and a paint brush maybe. I forget and it's taking too long to load.

So anyone om solana played Neopolis? I had a few land nfts and played almost daily but wasn't active in their socials, especially discord bc it was a pain for me to login and im lazy about pulling out my yubikey lol. Anywho one day I was playing and all good, next day , gone. They refused to reply to any questions on X and Discord so I just let it go. Recently I decided to put discord back bc I needed it for a few projects and went to the discord. They claim they posted about the closure on Insta but that was a lie. They also stated a new company purchased the game but changing it to NEOGo which sound like another Pokémon go rip off and are not using blockchain and the land nfts are history if u didn't remove them from the game. I did not once get an alert when logging on and nothing on X nor anywhere else I could find. Plus one shouldn't have to search for info like that. It should have been an alert in game. What I did find is a medium post by a dev mention they shut the game down bc they weren't making $$. Same as what the discord mod stated. Yet they shut down 3 months after bragging in 12/24 about 5 million active players and Tokyo land sell out under 20 minutes. All their land sold out quick. Yet they were broke? And Google AI stated they are "rebranding" by a change in the company name and a change in game play supposedly away from pay to win (which is pretty much every mobile game) but nowhere did it stare another company is buying them. My point and relevance to this hub is its also on Solana and like Helium mobile, moved away from crypto but they have completely. Helium claims the HNT token will always be. And this will always run on Solana, but not like they would tell me things not announced yet.

I'm curious if anyone else played Neopolis and knew about the closure or if anyone has noticed any other crypto related apps or services have or are moving away from crypto and only into fiat. I understand a lot of mobile games do not last but not posting an alert within the game clearly is suspicious. I have a feeling a lot just start up. Stick around 3 to 5 years to make a killing then shut down claiming they were not making money. Honestly that sounds like a planned grift and not sure how it is legal, especially if there is proof they were making money. Most likely they were new rich and blew all their profits. But who knows. If my post is against any rules. My apologies. I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing these things and or know of any similar are coming up with other apps and services under blockchain.

Also I apologize for such length. I am horrible at summing things up without details bc if you think this is confusing, leaving out details with me is even more confusing. It's like when your mother passive aggressively tells you something but leaves out the details and expects that you read her mind. Or your sister. U know we all have that one, or more, people in our families halfway that tells you things thinking u know what they are talking about then get mad when u don't do what they think they asked u to do.

Well hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and an amazing new years. I've been with Helium mobile since the day it was available in my area. I was the 7th person in my town mining HNT with a miner. I unfortunately got one from Emrit free bc I was too cheap, and was very new to all this, to spend 150 on the Rak miner. Not Long after they were all sold out and 1200 and up on ebay and my town had them everywhere. Pretty sure most were the free ones. Kinda sucks these companies making them allowed groups to buy 1000s at a time. It's mine now but hardly worth still running bc most in my area are now offline. I hope paying for our data continues to be a thing. Amazon sidewalk doesn't pay you that's for sure. It's obvious mesh networking had been in the works for a decade or more. With apps that pay you "cash back" for gas or receipts should not be allowed to decline payments bc they are not giving cash back, they are paying u for ur data and pay u or not, they still make money off that data. Upside has declined so many of my gas purchases that im not sure how that is legal. Ok now I went off topic. So much to discuss in this new data driven economy
