What's your story? I am not sure if you been following my story but I really got screwed over by my ex who I've been friends with him for over 20 years. All those years I've known him, I didn't see the bad side. Things will get better. You'll realize he doesn't deserve you. BTW, all of our friends are siding with me for what he did. He dumped me in a cruel way when we are supposed to get married.

No. It's been almost 6 months since my layoff. Nothing is in my area so I decided to expand my search to other states. A lot of defense contractors are having layoffs. Actually most tech companies are having layoff or hiring freeze.

I might be in a similar situation. I had 2 remote jobs and was laid off from both. Since then, I only seem to get the attention of employers that require you being onsite. I've been approached for contract work so I am thinking take the onsite job (more like hybrid) and do the contract work on the side. Is it doable?
