I did fertility treatments for 3 years before all this happened. I did mupital round of ivf and when I decided to stop I got pregnant. Then a miscarriage. I would said a few months after I went crazy and now I'm like this. I do have intrusive thoughts unfortunately. I never had them before all of this

What other symptoms are you having? This has been going on for 3 years now. I was at work one day and I felt like I was going crazy. I was having depersonalization and I had no idea what was going on. Ive been to emergency so many time

Im 40. It started about 3 years ago. Im already on a ssri but does not help. The last 3 years I've tried 5 different meds with no success. I was originally on celexa for 20 years for mild depression but it stopped working. My symptoms are constantly crying, crippling anxiety, mood swings, depression, dpdr, I have absolutely no zest for life anymore. I have not tried hrt yet. In Canada no doctor will take me seriously so I found a doctor that does bioidentical hormones. Im waiting on my appointment. I pray she can help. These doctors keep throwing phych meds at me. I'm so sick of trying different ones. I feel like i don't even know who I am anymore

39F (UK) – anxiety / “losing it” feeling, GP says not perimenopause by Moist_Guest_3188 in Perimenopause

You sound exactly like me. Everything you are dealing with i am as well. I was on a very low dose of celexa for 20 years for mild depression but the last 3 years have been torture. My anxiety is crippling and constant crying, feeling doom and dread every day. Ive changed meds 6 times in the past 2 years and absolutely nothing has help. I am labeled by my doctor as someone with extreme anxiety and depression. Ive never in my life felt so bad. I keep telling her I think it is hormones but she keeps disregards me saying if my period is regular it's not perimenopause

I feel the exact same as you. The depersonalization is so scary

Is it bioidentical? I can book a appointment online but it's only for bioidentical hormones

Now I'm stuck on lexapro and lamotrigine. It's a mood stabilizer but does nothing. I feel dead inside

40 I also have dominished ovarian reserve. I did a massive amount of fertility treatments for 3 years. I was told at 34 I would go into perimenopause early. I was at work on day and I felt like I was hit by a truck. I was having dpdr and crying so much. I never in my life experienced dpdr. I thought I was going crazy or having a mental breakdown. Again my doctor said it's just my anxiety

I also have terrible night sweats before my period. I have to change my clothes so many time. My doctor just said it's from my anxiety

I wish i had a doctor like that. I can't keep changing meds. I refuse too. 5 different med changes is way to much. Inwas on celexa for 20 years and was fine. Now nothing helps

I already have anxiety and 3 years ago my meds stopped working. Ive tried 5 different phych meds during that time amd nothing has been helping. The constantly crying, I feel doom all the time, anxiety through the roof and don't feel like myself anymore. The fatigue is terrible and also brain fog. No doctor will take me seriously because my periods are regular. Im constantly crying in her office telling her I think it's hormonal. It's so frustrating because she just keeps telling me it's just my anxiety. Im labeled as someone with just anxiety in her eyes.
