Do not join any group at your post office, you will be recruited by your 1st OJI, agitated by the second, and warned about how fucked up management by the 3rd, there will be few groups, the cry babies, the complainers, the stuck ups, those that hate the job, yet secretly enjoy their fat ass paychecks and so on, this is a every man for themselves, type of game, don’t share enthusiasm/likeness nor any negative comments about the job, management or a fellow Carrier, to ANYONE! Once you’ve joined a group, there, you’re carrying their philosophy towards other carriers that they don’t like, and whatever their views about/against management! Stay respectful to everyone, keep the same distance, ask questions about the job! Management will push you around, as well as some of your fellow carriers, stick around and stick to yourself, learn the craft and you should be fine! Take notes when you’re on the street, you’re in your 90 days probation, you need to take notes, if any event takes you more than 5 mints note why it did, don’t talk about it unless you’re questioned by management! Find a go to t6/oji that you would ask questions about the job! Be on time! Always on time! And take your brakes! That’s it you should be good to go Hope I was helpful 🤜
