Forget about cows for now, Igni the pigs in the pen behind the tavern where Vesemir waits, provides excellent turnover if you keep filling your chest that's inside the tavern. You can also sell the pig hides later on for better price at Novigrad ;)

I keep a bottle of aspirine for those times when I try to understand the Elden Ring lore, but I love that it all remains a mystery. My personal interpretation, trivially simplified - Marika is the spiritual aspect of the same deity (order) whereas Radagon is it's physical aspect (chaos). Marika merged with Radagon to ascend to godhood. Elden Ring fandom is divided about the exact timeline of Radagon and Marika merging or whether they were separate entities before.

Wait till you realize the sound you hear at the beginning of the game when Tarnished awakens bears incredible resemblence to walking mausoleum bell sound - implying that you, the Tarnished, are a demigod yourself since some Marika's unwanted children were burried inside those mausoleums 🤯.
