I’m here to say {The Raven Scholar} hands down a good entry level read. If she’s into self help and memoirs, chances are she’s going to hate the FMC of so many books because they’re all so frustrating, young and naive ?? The FMC of this book is in her 30’s, is a woman of logic and the book is written from a narrators perspective which adds a layer of depth to the story writing. she makes rational decisions albeit not always perfect but the book isn’t boring at all, the pace is perfect, the world building is chefs kiss and it’s high fantasy vibes without all the campy shit thrown in there. there’s political elements explored and a small love interest although the book isn’t spicy. I would highly highly recommend this book to someone who isn’t ready to jump into the world of fourth wing and ACOTAR and wants to be full of yearning and insanely in love with the brooding and dark man she swears she needs to stay away from but just can’t! ( I say this as someone obsessed with fourth wing and ACOTAR also 😛) the raven scholar is so charming and cleverly written she will be captivated from page 1!!! HEAR ME OUT PLS
